For the Record I think this is Cool How they are using Sea Mammals to search for mines... Dogs have Saved Lives in War Time for Centries...

they also need to pay for all of their advertising, don't forget that.

I used to be a member of Amnesty International until I started checking where their money goes. Similar situation.

SAVE the Dolphins. The Navy should throw PETA guys overboard to sweep for mines.

PETA don't want me to have a dog or eat a steak neither. Sorry, PETA dudes. My dog is quite happy to hang with me -- especially when I give her some steak.

Actually, 81% goes to program expenses. The rest is for fundraising and adminastration.

I did some work on the base where the EOD guys train and care for their Dolphins. They NEED those dolphins. And there is major $$$ spent on that program. You bet they are well cared for! Besides, like any good human animal working team, a bond is formed. Those guys CARE about those dolphins. PETA is just too damn fanatical.

You mean the Navy has Dan Marino and the rest of THE DOLPHINS out hunting mines? I feel so stupid! I totally missed the point! It is nice that PETA cares about them.

Now I'm not one to gossip or anything, but I gotta share this with you guys(and Marla)because I like you and all, but Zach Thomas said the chances of the Dolphins beating the Iraqi armed forces is better than them winning the AFC title game!
