I've seen the Egg go on these acutions for nearly the price normally charged by CI., so I can't seem to win one at a price I'm willing to pay. Perhaps I should adjust my price upward on future auctions but before I do that I'm curious to hear the evaluations of some of you who've smoked this "unusual" (to say the least) cigar.

TIA

Everyone has their opinions so here's mine. The best out of that company was/is the IP line and I don't smoke them any more as I've found better for less or just simply found better.

Got one of the Eggs as a promo with another order somewhere else awhile back. In a word, "it sucks". Guess that is two words.

Smoked one and thought it was 'OK'. Kept going out on me and got tired of re-lighting it. Smoked about half of it and then gave up. I consider it a novelty cigar.

Rick, do you use the trick of blowing into the cigar with a flame on the foot while smoking the egg? Now that I think about it, it might help to get rid of some of the tar build up.

i hadn't had that tar problem that i am aware of. i do store it in it's box on end and reverse top and bottom every so often. it prevents canoeing. the moisture settles throughout the cigar instead of the bottom when stored on their sides.

Thanks to everyone for their responses to my question. I won a bid for The Egg so I guess I'll get to try one for myself now and then I can add my 2 cents worth when someone else poses the question.

Thanks again for your help.

Rick, do you store all of your cigars that way or just make sure to rotate the regular size cigars?
