Still working on the restaurant. For those that can blow off the afternoon we will be wine tasting at Rosenblum Winery in Alameda at 3PM. Free tasting and a great patio to smoke cigars and drink a bottle of wine. We will be atr the winery from about 3-5PM and then head to the Canterbury to meet at about 6PM and go grab some dinner and then drink and smoke at the Canterbury Hotel.

What about the Slanted Door restuarant on Embarcadero? Great Vietnamese food at reasonable prices? If so we should make reservations and meet there, then go to the canterbury.

Dinner is looking likew Habana Restaurant on Van Ness at Pacific only a mile from the Canterbury Hotel. Cuban food, full bar, not too pricey and opens at 5:30 so we should be able to get in without a problem. I will bew in Alameda until 5 PM and then head over with the guest of honor.

WOW!! That's all I can say about last night. Our special guest was Steve Saca, he works within the cigar industry and came bearing gifts.

I took home two Partagas EL Piramides with 2years age, and a Punch Churchill Tubo with 12 years age. The Punch has the old plain brown band and has more bloom than I've ever seen!!

Steve is a true class act!! He gave out 100 cigars to 7 or so people, and all the ISOMs were from his personal collection!!
