Rather than continue to focus on the War, I wanted to find out which Food Chef's on television the board members prefer.

My personal favorites are:

(1) Nick Stellino (no longer on the food network, and now we have to rely upon his cook books, such as CUCINA AMORE). My wife (who is 1/2 Italian)(not me, I have two left feet and no imagination) has cooked probably 25 of his recipes. Every single one, without fail, has been OUTSTANDING. I highly recommend him to you, or your better halves (that do the cooking). I always look forward to these dishes. Try some of his recipes, you will NOT be disappointed.

(2) Jamie Oliver, the young British kid who cooks up a storm for his buddies and then they all enjoy what he's cooked. His cooking seems effortless, and his preparations are really well balanced and seasoned (despite the claim all British food is blase). I have actually cooked a couple of his sea shell food dishes, which are quick, easy, and great for parties or get togethers with friends. OUTSTANDING.

(3) I also enjoy watching the Iron Chef Competitions, but prefer to see more International food (and chef) involvement.

What say You???

Alton Brown is pretty cool. I like the way he explains the nuts and bolts of it. Jacques Pepin is great for the classical technique. His knife work is amazing!

Oliver also happens to be an oustanding drummer. They featured a clip of his band on one segment last year.

We've tried a few of Lagasse's recipes, all with great success, plus he's got a great band (see a trend here?).

I always liked it when that obnoxious New Yorker and his gas grill went up against that good ol' boy and his charcoal BBQ. I've always used charcoal, and my wife got me a smoker for Father's Day last year. I will never go to the Dark Side...
