Has anybody tried the new "Ipanema" by CAO. I would like to get an opinion on them before I buy a box.

I have smoked one and I will vouch for this newest addition to the Brazila line from CAO. I now rank CAO number one on the Charlie Favs listing....never thought I would say this but as Forrest Gump once said, "That's all I have to say about that"!

The Ipanema is a beautiful cigar and it is of medium to full strength with mixtures of herbs and spices and smokes so beautifully you hate to see it end. The one I smoked lasted over an hour and was simply heaven! If my wife did not have the clamps on me and my buying power, I would most certainly buy a box of these. I intend to as soon as the ban is lifted!

You know the famous story about the guy who built the boat in his basement? I have a coolerdor which must be the largest known to mankind. I must have gotten it into my downstairs office somehow but I think it may have necessitated removing the lid. A mini-cabinet and desktop unit later and I am still complaining about storage space. My wife had me written off as a lost cause long ago.

But then I gave her a Monte #4 (4x44) the other day which she positively raved about. The look on her face when I told her the rest of "her" box was in the coolderdor downstairs was worth 10 times the price!

I am pleased to report that I'm on the back porch enjoying my first Ipanema. (pause for effect) My dog is out here with me... (Paws for effect). I must say, CAO, would you have my baby? (Paw's for effect) this cigar is quite simply a work of art. In fact, I believe Fuente may bring CAO up on charges... The one I'm having is obviously OTT, but even still, the burn is perfect, the flavor sublime. I like to exhale a bit out through the nose to enhance the taste when smoking, this Ipanema has that little burn at the back of the nose, and just the right spice on the pallet. I can only imagine how tasty her cousins will be in a year...
