Typical politician retoric. everybody knows you say one thing to get into office, then do another once your there. Wrong as it is thats the way most people seem to want it. keeps everybody busy bickering about them and nothing really gets done.

Yes Rick, I believe you told US that you were going to Refrain from any Political Views until this War was over and our troops were home???

I view the statement you made to everyone the same way I view this Article... it came from a Liberal, Leftest, Loser who wants to dig up crap on the Other Guy!!!!!

Note to Rick... I am not stating you as a Loser, I'm refrencing that to the web host of that site... but the Other Shoe's fit you to a tee!!!!

"Bush’s first budget proposed cutting grants to children’s hospitals like the one he visited by 15% ($34 million). His 2004 budget additionally proposes to cut 30% ($86 million) out of grants to children’s hospitals."

I'm curious, is a reduction in an increase a cut? Rick? I am VERY interested in your views on this one, so please respond. Let me give you an example. If you're making 50,000 a year, and last year, and the year before and the year before you received a 10% raise, and this year, since times are harder, you only received a 5% raise, did you take a pay cut?

The part I don't understand is, the congress creates programs. They vote increases in the programs. God forbid that they EVER actually eliminate "a program" (that would be evil). So what do they do? They continue to grow the programs... So when they want to save some money here or there, what to do? what to do? Hey! I have it, instead of a 10% increase, this year, let's only give a 5% increase... YOU'RE KILLING PEOPLE! AND MAKING PEOPLE EAT DOG FOOD!! HOW COULD YOU!! YOU'RE EVIL REPUBLICANS!! BAD BAD REPUBLICANS!!! They lament "the cuts" Oh the cuts OH GOD THE CUTS!! How could you cut those programs!!!! It's usually bull$hit. They're "usually" not cuts at all, but reductions in increases. So what programs would you recommend they cut? OH DON'T TELL ME! LET ME GUESS!!! THE MILITARY! HOW PREDICTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody think Rick will not vote for whichever liberal runs against Bush in the next election?

Next election results (regardless of who the Democratic candidate is) will be a Republican landslide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tough reality Rick :) Waaaahhhhh

Robby, your last post was brilliant. It IS a reduction of an INCREASE in most cases.

Rick, any President would have had to back off a little here and there with increases, since 9/11 and the war.

Are you going to blame Bush for these GIANT unexpected security costs, the War, and the recession due to 9/11, the near colapsed airline industry, the lack of tourism which has hurt every major city?

These problems would be there for any president in office right now. Logically you need to make some sacrifices here and there. 9/11 has changed this country and is going to change the world, as far as terrorism goes.

What good are these increases anyway if we arent alive to use them. National Security at this time is #1 priority.
