Thank you all. Using everyone's information of the forum, I won a couple of boxes of everyday smokes - 5 vegas and mayorgas. Can't wait to let these babies age. Also obtained an Opus, hemingway short story, don carlos robusto, la gloria serie r, indian tabac super fuerte, ashton aged maduro, excalibur #1, h. upmann anniversary, montesino, and a few others to try. And if I don't like them, at least I know people who I can trade with ;)

Man ... if you don't like the OpusX, Hemingway Short Story, Don Carlos Robusto, La Gloria Serie R, Indian Tabac Super Fuerte, Ashton Aged Maduro, Excalibur #1, H. Upmann Anniversary, and Montesino ...

... you need to give up smoking cigars and find another hobby!

All except that Opus X! The reviews are ALWAYS overbloated with remarks like "it's the best", and "I can die a happy man", blah, blah, blah. Don't dissapoint your tastebuds...trade with me! You won't like it, and I have masochist tendencies. I derive maximum pleasure by smoking that kind of garbage. You'll thank me later for the abuse I put myself through!

I simply cannot let the good Dr suffer alone. Misery loves company. Please send all those bad Opus "our" way. Don't waste your time even trying one.

"".. you need to give up smoking cigars and find another hobby! ""

You also might consider having a doctor examine your taste buds.

You'll be SORRY!!!!!

The minute you stub that out...you'll never replicate that moment! The search, nea, the price will leave you desperate for that feeling again.

Don't make the mistakes I've made. It's not too late for you. Me, I'm resigned to smoking that kind of trash to degrade myself to depths that bring me pain...that bring me pleasure.

It's not too late for you.........

Its all over guys. Had the Opus last night, and oh my, oh my. IMHO, that was the best cigar I've ever had....oh wait, no I'm with you guys, they are nasty. Anyone who has any, I'll take one for the board and take them off your hands.

Don't want to be critical but IMHO the Opus X is not that great! Honestly! I do appreciate the complexity but for the price....There are much better gars to be had!!!

I will stick with PAM, VSG, AF Sungrowns over the Opus X. Of course the Montecristo and the HUpmanns torps (Havana) are still a much better deal - where I live!

Regards,

B

Billy, many people share that view. I would say, that "an aged Opus" is right up there with the best cigars I've smoked. But I have had some that were disapointing.
