Gallup poll says, Romney then Palin. We have to do better than that.

Yes, there are better choices. Unfortunately, they will all be relegated to the "nut job" bin long before their message gets out.

Sadly, the Republicans will choose a face from the far right and probably lose..........Pawlenty or other centrist would win due to Obama straying so far left. Time to be practical and talk about who can win.........

Please don't say Ron Paul... Rand maybe, but Ron Paul - I'll take Palin.

Eh. I'd rather have Mrs. Paul. But I was thinking of him when I mentioned the nut job thing.

We got time. But the cream needs to start rising to the top.

This country would elect Jeb Bush if he were to run, but I very seriously doubt he will.

Just for the sake of repeating my self again, I think Obama wins if the economy improves and there is a noticeable decrease in unemployment. In 2007, before the economy tanked (but it was seen on the horizon),improvement in the economy was predicted to begin the last quarter of this year and/or first quarter of 2011.

The economy will not significantly improve as long as there is no reason for businesses to create jobs. Everyone is in "protect" mode, not "growth" mode with an anti-business government.

Just how it is.

Robert,,

Spit out the Kool Ade...

Obama will never be elected to anything ever again..

He will go down as a worse Pres.than Carter...

Newt in 2012...

Admittedly a longshot, but he has two years to get lucky...

Yeah. Like moderate "maverick" McCain was a "sure-fire" winner...

If you run a moderate Republican against any Democrat, the Republican will lose. Period.
20. Author: donutboy2000Date: Mon, 10/4/2010, 10:29PM EST
Glenn Beck will run.
21. Author: gringococoloDate: Tue, 10/5/2010, 9:19AM EST
Newt, Beck, Palin, Ron Paul..... I'm gonna be sick. Newt is the worse idea ever!! Jesus, please don't put that cracker up there!! Or Beck. Are Republicans so stupid as to not want even 5% of the "minority" vote. I can't see any minority vote going to Newt or Beck.

On a side note. As I looked at the on screen TV guide today I noticed something odd. On all the Fox "News" shows (Sheppard Smith etc....) the description said, "Interpretation of today's news." However, on all of the other channels "News" shows (Anderson Cooper, etc...) the program description just says, "today's news". Media slant maybe?

Didn't watch any of them anyway. Just an observation.

Rudy - OK, I can actually picture that. Newt has too much negativity around him, too many years as an insider (public perception). His time is come and gone.
24. Author: ZRX1200Date: Wed, 10/6/2010, 1:14AM EST
Newt & Rudy can kiss my white cracker arse. #7 ^ are you high? I think people are a little fed up with democrat-light. Going socialist then to communist slower is not an exceptable alternative. I say Sharon Angle and Palin to give Rickmaven a boner/heartattack. Seriously do agree we need some leadership going foward. And I hope the establishment dinosuars realize they need to get their azzes on the train or go extinct.
25. Author: gringococoloDate: Wed, 10/6/2010, 12:11PM EST
For the record, I believe Palin is OK. I just don't believe that she would be a winning candidate. Media smears etc...
26. Author: ZRX1200Date: Wed, 10/6/2010, 2:17PM EST
^you're correct, the media has been attacking here non-stop. I respect her for what she has put up with and the position she was put in without real support from the GOP. She is as much establishment as Mcshame though. The important thing for concerned people is to get involved locally, not for party but for our rights and futures.

Bish forgot when he went all "maverickey" on Palin...that cost him.

His hatred for her cost him the Presidency. He wasn't solid on his own and thought he could reign in Palin. That wasn't ever going to happen. Caribou Barbie still hunts...Maverick's dead.

I think the establishment made him take her to lose the election, I think congress was their real target.

Plain was done wrong, but if I were her I wouldn’t have been a part of anything as underground lizards as the Republican establishment.

She was right...he was wrong...America saw through it. Sad, actually. An advocate for those with no voice...it would've been an 1 2 punch against Obamacare. The weak wanted the govt mandate.
