I have found my perfect cigar
1. Author: tmitch06905Date: Fri, 9/17/2021, 8:51AM EST
I like a cigar with a ring gauge of 50-52 and a length of 5”-6”. I like the full flavor with a Maduro wrapper but other full flavored wrappers such as a Brazilian wrapper is good. I like a cigar that burns evenly that I can look at and admire the wrapper, the way it burns and the craftsmanship of the tobacco and skill of the boncheros I have been dancing with many different cigars from Cohiba, Alex Bradley, Gurkha CAO and others. Lately I have been smoking Torano cigars and I have stopped dancing. Torano cigars, and I have smoked many from their selection, have all met or exceeded my expectations in all criteria. For now anyway I am only smoking Torano cigars. A big bonus is Cigar Bid where I can get them a fraction of the going price.

Well done
Your search has ended

You might try Cusano cigars
They are even better than Torano, and cheaper!
6. Author: ZRX1200Date: Fri, 9/17/2021, 12:34PM EST
I remember when Torano made good cigars, have a few left that Lou sent me.

Yeah^ the recent ones I’ve had don’t stack up to the older ones

Torano ???Brick wall Are you sure you didn't mean Tatuaje?

Try a Jaime Garcia. For a Brazilian wrapper try 7-20-4.

You’re a lucky guy. I’mma pretty sure 98.2% of ALL cigars smokers have not found their perfect cigar.

Btw, I’m not part of the Grammar Police squad but when I saw the title of your thread, thought you were gonna name ONE particular cigar, not a broad brush stroke of a manufacturer. Can you narrow it down for us?

Me thinks this guy was created by CBid to improve their SEO rankings....

To answer the question from Palama I haven't found a Torano I did not like. Although not a big fan of box pressed cigars, the Carlos Torano Exodus Gold 1959 Robusto (5.0"x52)i is really good. KinoftheCove, thank you for your suggestion. Perhaps I will give Cusano cigars a look.

There is a ten pack for $12.50 right now, auction ends in a few hours. Hurry and grab them.

You may think you've found the holy grail but I assure you your palate will change as it develops. After many years at this hobby I smoke maybe a dozen different brands with Fuente,LFD and Tatuaje topping the list but to narrow it down to one cigar is impossible. However at the moment the Fuente Magnum R 44 is floating my boat........by next week I'll probably be back on my Tat Miami Especiales kick............or the LFD DL 452.Variety is the spice of life my friend.......embrace it

Like Whistle said I like variety and Torano is not in the list . Smoke what you like just don't send me any .

Haha

About 15 years ago... that Exodus 1959 was pretty damn good.

Not even a yard gar today.

I wish I could remember the Torano's I used to pick up for Lou2row down in The Woodlands back 2008-2010ish..............They were fantastic,I burned thru a couple boxes myself. That being said this was the only Torano I ever truly loved.

Yep that's the one............only Torano that I ever found any complexity in,they were delicious
22. Author: 24132413Date: Sun, 9/19/2021, 11:10PM EST
well that's sad as Carlos Torano makes nothing but average, ok, decent smokes and nothing more. Seeing that his cigars qualify as "not bad" I guess you could do worse. However there are a number of Maduro wrapped smokes in the same price range that are noticeably better. Try Packs of 5 of the following for a Max Bid of $16 per Pack of 5. Should win often if you bid properly. You won't be disappointed:

Ave Maria Argentum
Ave Maria Dark Knight
Brick House Maduro
Camacho Triple Maduro
Doomsayer Aggresive Maduro
Drew Estate Undercrown Maduro
Flor de San Andres Black by Rocky Patel
Rocky Patel Sungrown Maduro
Partagas Cifuentes Maduro
Partagas Legend
Man O' War Side Projects
Man O' War Abomination
Man O' War Damnation

I have found my perfect cigar many times....but they never stay the same. I know it can be hard to maintain the same consistency with tobacco.

Or maybe I changed?

I still have not found my perfect cigar. But, a good place to start would be the cigar I smoked before that was better than the one I'm smoking now.

In my opinion there's no such thing as a perfect cigar, only perfect MOMENTS when you're smoking a GREAT cigar.

I did get a special edition man o war side project Salomon that was really tasty. But I haven't tried most of the 24132413 list.
Just ordered the first 2 ave Maria's on list coincidently. It appears to be good advice. More posts like this would help.

I guess the OP hasn't tried the CAO Brazilia GoL!, cause from what I've read that's the all time best cigar ever.

More wholesome than mom, apple pie, and baseball. More fun than a roller coaster.

The Victor Sinclair Connecticut Yankee is Bucky’s favorite cigar.
And he’s not afraid to admit it…

That’s actually the one I like.

Honestly. Really is.
