I recently picked up a NEEDONE Electronic Humidor (300 Capacity) that I plan to keep at 65% RH @ 68 degrees. I also picked up two Rubbermaid Brilliance acrylic containers that I plan to keep at 69% RH inside the electric humidor.

So that means I have the opportunity to experience both 65% & 69% RH @ 68F.

I read some people like to keep certain wrappers at different humidity levels so I plan to do:
Connecticut @ 69% RH.
Dark wrappers @ 65% RH.

But I’m not sure what to do about flavored/infused cigars. Should I also follow the rule if it’s a lighter wrapper it needs more RH, so keep it in the 69% container?
I got Nub nuance, Drew Estate Java, and Tabak Especial infused cigars. What Humidity level do you keep your infused cigars?

I keep all of my cigars at 65% or near to it. I got rid of the las of my infused a few years back to some folks who didn't know any better and still enjoyed them.

If I were to keep some though, I'd do 65% for them as well.

I don't add water to my water crystals til I fall to 58%...........about 62-63% is my high side.I've found over the years this is what works for me.I never have to dry box a cigar and they seem to age quite well at this humidity level.As far as humidor temp right now,100 plus days,usually 70-75 but in the winter I can keep it between 65 and 68.

Infused sticks.........not in my humidor you don't. Gift them to someone less fortunate

Because it's incredible the flavors that can occur from the aging and blending of natural tobacco. For me, the infused stuff is too cloying, too sweet, and just too artificial.

If you enjoy them, don't let us dissuade you. Smoke what you like and all. There just aren't many here who continued to enjoy infused flavors once better options were discovered

I bought an assortment of about 40 different cigars from cigarbid. 10 infused and the rest non infused. I guess we'll see my opinion after im done with them.

I think I have smoked three infused cigars in my life. An Acid that tasted like patchouli, a Nub Nuance from a sampler, and a Java the wifey started and I finished. None of them impressed me.

Although now that I think about it, I do remember smoking a couple of DE's Juicy Lucys. Were those infused, or just a sweetened tip?

The guy at a shpo talked me into buying a Fat Bottom Betty several months ago, which I understand is infused. I keep waiting until I'm in the mood to fire it up, but I'm never in the mood.

as you can see, murkr, there isn't a lot of enthusiasm for infused cigars among this membership. Many of us tried them at the beginning of our journey in the world of cigars, and enjoyed them while smoking with other cigar novices. We all discovered the natural taste of tobaccos used to produce good cigars and noticed we liked those intricate and complex natural flavors better than the artificial and often way-too-sweet flavors of infused ones. This transition from flavored stuff to natural cigars seems to be a common progression among BOTL.

I still have a small tabletop humidor, kept at 59 - 62% RH, filled with infused cigars like Acid KubaKuba, Drew Estate Natural, Java, Tabak Especial and Kentucky Fired Cured. I call that 25 count humidor (my first one, another commonality among cigar smokers is the gradual acquisition of larger and larger storage boxes for an expanding cache of smokes) the Candy Box and keep if for those guests who prefer infused cigars. I haven't smoked any from that box in many years...nor has anyone else I know.
