Jamie's 3 fingers only box (afraid to call it a package) and his name for this RAOK is based on a true story...he did use two 3 finger cigar bags... but he stuffed two cigars in each of the six fingers.
And that, folks, is how a fiver becomes a dozen.
smokes: Sobremesa Brulee (blue) 46- never had any brulee but often thought I should LFD Solis...as much of a fan I am about LFD, this is one of the few I have never had Boli PC...no comment necessary Perdomo Small Batch Maduro 2005 petit robusto/small corona/half corona...whatever they call the size, it's now called ash (HNixon would be proud of me). Very good, the right kind of strength. Tat PCR (May 18 box code per Z) AF MagR44...a personal fave
and in the other 3 finger bag: a "Real" Camacho 10th Anny...so looking forward to this one. Man, I was such a Camacho Ho years ago... Eiroa PCA 2021 cammy...don't think I ever knew of these so can't wait Hemmy Signature sungrown...love these Aladino Corojo Reserva #4...Z warns me it's "strongish". Never had one, I'm sure I can still handle "strongish" RyJ...maybe a Cazadore?...per Jamie it was gifted to him a few years back from none other than CBD, the former friend who got me into this mess. HA! Thanks David. and an unbanded pig tailed lancero that Z says is a one-time special run by Franklin Pichardo...I was unaware of the story until now and will treat this sweet looking smoke with reverence.
Jamie also tossed in some more of his signature grown up chocolates and a cool old school hand written letter in which he shows off his AI skills...wait, not what I meant...HA!
And best of all...no butt plugs!
Fantastic "mood elevator" my friend...thank you so much.

smoked a bunch out of both insane bombs, have to admit that so far all have been well within my preferred tastes and strengths...a few that are still intact will get ashed later in the Summer as a couple special occasions are on the calendar and they are simply looking way more time consuming than my normal selections.

OK, I took my beating. Can I let go of my ankles now? smoked this today. a strange little celebration because my mother decided she wanted to live a bit longer...very weird coupla days. prelight aroma from this beauty was possibly the most intoxicating of any unlit cigar I've ever fondl...um, held. this was simply delicious. That's my review. Thank you Jamie. For real. Great cigar. |

Glad you enjoyed it, did the strength sneak up on you?

8285. Author: frankj1 | Date: Sun, 6/25/2023, 7:00PM EST | |
not really. I suspected that if I continued much longer drawing through the twisted off pigtail hole it would get harsh from tar, so before I hit the last third I clipped the head just a little and used the technique Robert taught me oh so many years ago that he used with Joyitas and other smaller ring gauge cigars...smoke slower and "sip" the smoke from the cigar.
It really was a great smoking experience, checked the important boxes aside from the tobacco itself (which was delicious), like helping me calm my mind, slow myself down, similar qualities to an expert massage...
I better stop now before I have to change my Duluth underwear. |
