...Reckless. As part of his Tat 6-Pak of LEs and HFTs, Matt sent a wonderful H-Town Lancero when he picked me up in the PIB/Non-Elitist last year. Great construction, easy draw, tons of smoke and really, really tasty. Thanks again brother! 🤙

Yesterday, enjoyed very much a “Havana Soul” toro just a great cigar.

One, I don’t remember who sent it!
Two, I don’t know if it was the Pepin rolled, RP rolled or AJ Fernandez rolled!

Asylum 13 Ogre lancero from borndead1. Its an interesting cigar, I’ve never had the full size versions as they’re huge. The flavor profile is neither maduro nor candela (not odd given the barber pole wrap). At times it reminded me a bit of a lighter version of paper cap guns I had as a kid, sounds weird but it really was good. It is a strong but not overpowering blend. Not a desert island cigar, but I would absolutely drive to the local shpo to buy one.

Monte #2 from Celtic. Part of the massive Nov 2019/ Cigar”lady” bombing on me. Really enjoyed it, even on a day where temps were in the upper 90’s. (Thank god for 5e breeze off the water)

Weather here is a little lower but strangely enough the wind at the coast today is western going offshore. Saw that on the local morning weather.

Monte #2 is very good when on.

Smooth, lots of smoke output, flawless construction and burn with that classic Anejo chocolately taste. For a Fuente ‘ho, it don’t gets better than this. Thanks again DanM! ThumpUp

Benja,
LFD Andalusian Bull. I actually think it's my second one from him! Ashed it up early Saturday morning 1-3am in a very pro$perou$ poker game. Not supesrticious but that's a lucky smoke!
Same day I finished 2 more display cases for the local. VERY Good weekend!
And then
RoMa Craft Aquataine toro just now.
Exceedingly generous of you!
MUCHAS GRACIAS!
I feel like a moochis assius right now!

Pulled out a Nestor Miranda from the back of the old refrigerator that is my humidor. The cellophane had darkened considerably. At least seven or eight years old. All I can say is that time had improved this cigar amazingly.
Time doesn't always transform a good cigar into a better one, but when it happens it is a stogie happy hour

Nice story, glad you are enjoying the smokes. I am getting ready to pull some of your amazing return fire sticks out. They are almost too special to smoke but I'm gonna find an occasion. Did thoroughly enjoy another cc partagas from our trade yesterday.

Alan (fiddler898)... Among many of the gorgeous cigars he sent was an Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva Work of Art Maduro. A first for me from that line, and extraordinarily delicious. Even the pre-light smell was like a bar of dark chocolate!
