I sure did! My name is on the bottle somewhere on the right side but the two I got have labels all beat up. Regardless, the story on the bourbon is neat and for that money being $15 cheaper than a Four Roses Private Selection MSRP ($22 cheaper than their giftshop price ;D) it seemed like an acceptable deal. If it was a touch cheaper I probably would've bought a case.

I didn't realize that both LDI/MGP and Four Roses had the same recipes and yeast strains left over from Seagrams but now that it has been brought to my attention it makes perfect sense. I'm excited to compare a 5 barrel small batch of LESV from LDI/MGP's scaled up operation to some OESV private selects.

Keeping in mind first and foremost that we're NOT the connoisseur of fine bourbons that you are.... Lisa and I thought it was exceptional after breaking into one of our two bottles. Enough so that I contacted Matt to inquire about 1-2 more bottles. ( they should be in B Burg sometime this week!!!! )
