I don't listen to a ton of Country music, but they made me take notice back in the 90's when they broke. Been a fan ever since. Seeing them live is like seeing the Eagles live. The melodies and musicianship that's in the studio is on the stage...no gimmicks...no wizardry...no tricks.

I just recently got done rebuilding a beautiful old GE Stereo Console from 1965. When these things were made out of solid Walnut. It's beautiful and sounds even better than it looks. I integrated a 70's era Yamaha turntable that belonged to my old man. I lost a lot of my old vinyl in a flood but I saved most of the good stuff and found an old hippy vintage vinyl shop in my town, so I've been buying up old vinyl. God, this stuff sounds good. Right now, I've got Gordon Lightfoot "Sundown" spinning. Up next will be JJ Cale "Troubadour". After that will be New Riders of the Purple Sage "Who Are Those Guys?" The night will be finished with Amazing Rhythm Aces "Toucan Do It, Too"
