Very good but for the price there are regular productions that I like better. I bought a 5er of these along with others to try to find a custom that hits my sweet spot like the Alex CG from around '17. The current crop of tobacco seems stronger but without that flowery, graham cracker component I enjoy.
Still have some Hoyo de Mena and Miguel from Hector Luis farm to try. |

I really liked the 5er of Hoyo de Mena A's I got and was gonna get some more but the price jumped crazy high. Plus maybe its just me but I feel like a lot of the custom have gotten have got flat after a couple of years. |

I bought a box of Montecristo Open Regata last May. I plan to age them for a couple years, but in the meantime I smoked one last month, just out of curiosity. The flavor was typical, Cuban grassy notes, but the burn was very uneven and had a poor draw. I think I convinced myself to stick to Hondurans and Nicaraguans. |
