Why no French Toast and no scrapple?

Scrapple originated from the Mid Atlantic and you guys don't have it as a choice.

What's this world coming to?

I went with the SOS, as Sausage and eggs or Scrapple and eggs were not listed.
ALL of the above MUST have fried potatoes as a side.

Omelette (onions, ham, mushrooms and cheese). Hasbrowns crispy, white toast no butter.

WAffles, pancakes, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, french toast add bacon are all gross.

Wombat wants white bread, toasted, dry, with nothin' on it?? But you're not tall? Figured you for four whole fried chickens and a Coke!

My neighbor just traded my Christmas Cookies for home made scrapple. He brought back the container with the cookies filled with scrapple. Hubs and I will be feasting tomorrow morning! Although we got about 5 pounds of it so we'll be feasting again about 10 times!

LOVE me some scrapple, so long as its made right!!

It is! I hope it freezes well because there is NO WAY we're eating all of that over the next week or two.

I sincerely hope its good. Otherwise, I hope the dogs like it.

If you have a vacuum sealer scrapple freezes great.

My old neighbor used to make it from scratch and to this day it was the best I've ever had. I remember as a kid
walking in to their kitchen and seeing a hogs head sitting on the table getting ready to be picked....I miss those
days...

Other than some of the local butchers around my town about the best store bought scrapple I've had is Yoders
but you can't get that stuff anywhere near me so I've grown to really enjoy Rappa.

When we would visit family in SC, Saturday breakfast was always fried quail, grits, gravy, biscuit and sliced tomato. I think that might be why most of them had heart attacks. Great breakfast though.

I honestly would like to know as usually if frozen it sorta looses its ability to slice nice, stick together,if you understand me.That being said I would like to know...since its "fresh"if it remains the same?thx

Yeah - he loves breakfast foods!

I went with PANCAKES, because pancakes are for winners.
They're what I prefer...but what I usually end up with is coffee, sometimes with a greek yogurt chaser.
No sex with the coffee, I'm afraid. Just lots of lusty thoughts lol.

Rappa is what I'm familiar with though we have several local butchers brands as well.I will have to try the vacuum seal as I said earlier it gets grainy imo when frozen. The taste etc still good just the consistency.....
89. Author: delta1Date: Sat, 1/17/2015, 11:58AM EST
We also need to add a healthy alternative, besides oatmeal. Maybe fresh fruit cocktail with light greek yogurt?
90. Author: sd72Date: Sat, 1/17/2015, 12:21PM EST
Id like eggs over easy on corned beef hash, biscuits and gray, has Browns with cheese and onion, and a plate of bacon and sausage links. White toast dunked in melted butter. Coffee, and a Bloody Mary.

Can that be added to the poll?
91. Author: delta1Date: Sat, 1/17/2015, 4:56PM EST
yes, crispy fried corned beef hash topped with sunny side up/runny yolk eggs.

Looking at the list, I'll bet Shana is a vegetarian. Not one meat choice. The omelette is prolly a veggie only.

90/91 - now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout, Willis!!

Scrambled eggs with bacon and cheese, crispy hash browns, sausage, bacon, and biscuits and sausage gravy. Enough calories to encompass one's entire daily allowance and worth every one.

Pass the hot sauce.

my new breakfast now that I'm dieting. . .

2 eggs scrambled with onions and peppers, and slice of wheat toast with a little country crock, and a glass of OJ. Good protein, filling, and great flavors.

Big Breakfast = couple of eggs over easy, side of bacon, crispy hash browns, toast & plain black coffee
Light/Regular Breakfast = Yogurt w/granola and a banana with plain black coffee

I wish I could do the big breakfast more often than ~once a month but I would rather not die from Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure &/or morbid obesity. fog
