I worked with a guy that read the obituaries every day at work. I couldn't get by the paper's research work before they would run his fake obituary.

As Frank, and Stephen will attest, I made an extensive effort to contact Stephen over the past two years.
Numerous, and I mean NUMEROUS, PM's, e-mails, and voice mails, went unanswered.
Stephen and I were, (and thankfully, still are), really good friends, on and off the CBid forums, and it was not like him to not get back to me. With that in mind, and after I found an obit online that fit him to a "T", and also, considering his very serious medical concerns, I thought the worst.
I suppose "research" and "effort" are two different things, but I certainly didn't just haphazardly make the post about his death.
