lots of senators and congressmen (people?ha!) make these treks without publicity...and part of the reason is security.
many would be surprised to learn how many overseas trips some make.
this is not a justification, I don't even know if there is a value or not. It is possible that some diplomatic or strategic progress happens...or maybe not. |
