G.R.E.A.T. title....
But????
What happened to the WASHINGTON, D.C. yearning for the cherry blossoms??
Stieny, Back around 1995? I went to DC for the cherry blossom week...I had seen them many many times from 1975-90... We went down and walked to the Jefferson memorial ...Prime Minister John Majors was there too and greeted us admiring my 3?-4? Month old daughter...he smiled very genuinely...prolly remembering his own newborn children?...the security detail was really intense but professional... with 3 layers of British guards ++ ## of U.S.SECRET SERVICE... Mr. Majors dropped something and I picked it up/ or discovered it about 3 minutes later...
Gotta love the week of cherry blossoms... |

Agreed. Still a couple/few weeks to go. However, things are kinda nuts that week nowadays. Wife is a photographer and prefers the earliest light, so we go down a few times before sunrise and enjoy them before with just a few hundred other photographers instead of a few hundred thousand people later in the day. |
