Sweet....... Old south tobacco farming...... got a few myself.
plus my granddad grew his own to roll ...... said something along the lines of "I quit buying smokes when they went up to 10 cent a pack" lol

Makes sense, the soil looks sandy and the tobacco is most likely a Burley variety. Here in West TN, the majority was the fire cured, same as Western KY, and what they use for some pipe tobaccos, but mostly for chewing tobacco and those gimmicky DE with a touch of fire cured.
