We had a KitchenAid that lasted 12 years. Compressor went out and they told us it wasn't worth replacing for $800 due to the age. My wife bought into that, so we got a new one. This happened like 2 months after I spent $400 replacing the shelves and bins and such that had wear and tear. I thought I was making an investment and would have re-upped if anything reparable went wrong. So, we spent $1,700 on a new refrigerator that my wife HATES. Serves her right!

I don't know if we were lied to or the Sears sales person was misinformed but one of the first questions I asked him was where the OG brands were made and he told us they weren't made by American companies anymore. Don't remember if we were told or we inferred that they were made outside of the USA but ultimately we thought that they were made by non-American companies in other countries.

Also think that maybe, just maybe, the sales person may have been swayed by a backend sales SPIFF from the manufacturers so it would behoove him to sell one brand over another. At this point in time it's pure speculation but totally plausible. Think

A little Googling and now I know that refrigerators sold by the OG Whirlpools, Frigidaires, KitchenAids, etc. are foreign owned but still made in the USA.

Goodbye Korean brands! Not talking

You won’t get them. Emperor Gavin is out in El Dorado Hills and Nancy is up in Napa at her vineyard in St Helena.

San Francisco is a cool city but it is important to know where NOT to go. I’ve seen things.

Thankfully, you were able to get properly diagnosed and in to care quickly. I had viral brainstem encephalitis 20 years ago. What part of your brain is/was affected?

Took the wife out to dinner. We both had ribeye steaks with garlic smashed taters, corn and green beans.

Which means Tank also had ribeye steak, garlic smashed taters, corn and green beans for dinner... leftovers all chopped up and mixed together.

DED - wishing you a speedy and complete recovery.

Last of the household chores done. Sweaty as hell.

Debating whether to take a shower and watch the rest of the SNF game or smoke a cigar, shower and then watch the last few minutes instead. Seems like a good game though.

Decisions, decisions... Think

Edit: Gonna go for a short walk around the subdivision and smoke a cigar, then shower.

Corn one of the worse things to feed a dog. Their stomachs aren’t designed to digest it. Plus, many dogs have corn allergies. Meat, beans and potatoes on the other hand or great for them.

Speaking of pooches, my buddy Titan has been incontinent lately. Fortunately, my floors are all tile. He’s a 15 yoa Doberman. He gets to go out anytime he goes to the door. I’m concerned about him.

One more Monday left.

I could really go for a 5 ounce ribeye, 1/4 cup of garlic potatoes, and a handful of corn and green beans right about now.
