It's easy to support laws/policies that don't affect you. Both liberals and conservatives are guilty of this. But the bottom line is this: every law is essentially enforced at gunpoint and/or threat of imprisonment. Read that last sentence again and really think about it.

So I'll get REALLY specific here: would you be OK with YOUR daughter...sister...cousin...aunt...niece...friend...wife being hauled away in handcuffs, at gunpoint, and sent to prison for the rest of her life for getting an abortion? Because that's what abortion treated as murder would be. Let's focus on that for a minute. If your wife...daughter...sister got pregnant, decided that she couldn't or didn't want to have another child, had an abortion, or couldn't *legally prove* that she had a miscarriage, and went to prison for 10 years...20 years...LIFE...would you visit her in prison? What would you say to her?
