Wasn't the old testament retribution superseded by the blood sacrifice of the Son of God?

And on a blasphemous note, would said sacrifice not imply God's approval of abortion up to the 135th trimester?

There is mercy with God that he may be feared

Not so we can blaspheme, as you know,

But so we can glorify Him & enjoy Him forever.

The woman caught in adultery to be stoned was brought before the man without failure to test him.
Would he be too far right or too far left?

He said "let the man without failure cast the 1st"

He then knelt & drew in the sand while everyone split

"Woman" He said, "where are your accusers?"

They split, she said

"Neither do I condemn you," He said.
"Go & sin no more"

The only question is what was He drawing in the sand that made us one by one drop our stones & split.

Personally, I identify with the adulterer more than the accusers
But I've been both

Thanks for listening. I'll stop now

I see that nobody has given me a REAL answer to my question. So I'll bump it up a notch.

Laws have to be ENFORCED.

What would enforcement of a total abortion ban (abortion treated as murder or manslaughter) look like?

What level of enforcement would *YOU* be comfortable with?

It's easy to support laws/policies that don't affect you. Both liberals and conservatives are guilty of this. But the bottom line is this: every law is essentially enforced at gunpoint and/or threat of imprisonment. Read that last sentence again and really think about it.

So I'll get REALLY specific here: would you be OK with YOUR daughter...sister...cousin...aunt...niece...friend...wife being hauled away in handcuffs, at gunpoint, and sent to prison for the rest of her life for getting an abortion? Because that's what abortion treated as murder would be. Let's focus on that for a minute. If your wife...daughter...sister got pregnant, decided that she couldn't or didn't want to have another child, had an abortion, or couldn't *legally prove* that she had a miscarriage, and went to prison for 10 years...20 years...LIFE...would you visit her in prison? What would you say to her?

What COULD you say to her?

Psssst……the abortion is murder idea is just a cover story to sell it to the dim bulbs. This is about keeping women in their place. The conservatives honestly thinks women should not have rights to their bodies - they are kinda like….community property.

That’s all a fine and good story but to have a successful abortion a human life form has to die. If it is in the first 3 months you can kill it with chemicals. Once it’s further along than that it has to be killed and birthed or killed and dismantled.

And all those unfertilzed eggs - Murder!!

Miscarriages - Manslaughter!!

A human life 9 months to be created - in the first 3, it is just wishful thinking.

Besides, this is really about keeping women in their place. After conception, their wombs become community property - who are they to claim rights over it?

Convenient and Shelf-Stable
One of the biggest benefits of Spam is that it’s convenient and easy to prepare when running short on time or with limited ingredients available.

It’s also shelf-stable, which makes it simpler to stock up on compared to perishable protein foods like chicken or beef.

Because Spam is already cooked, it can be eaten straight from the can and requires minimal preparation prior to eating.

It’s also highly versatile and can be added to a wide variety of recipes.

Some of the most popular ways to enjoy Spam include adding it to sliders, sandwiches, pasta dishes and rice.

So...no more stem cell research? No in vitro fertilization? No more Plan B (because it might expel a fertilized egg)? Those are human life forms, ya know?

This is the kind of stuff that would have to be decided by judges/courts/legislators if 'life begins at conception' is adopted as law. Is that really what 'small government' conservatives want?

I also noticed that you didn't respond to my big philosophical post.

What would you say to your daughter if she were serving 20+ years in prison for getting an abortion? "Sorry, honey, but you knew it was illegal."

My wife has a similar recipe but she uses the small, one Musubi press. She made 10 of them last night and I took 8 of them for our fishing trip.

I didn't actually read the article, I just posted one of the top results for the search term.

I guess that can be blamed on evil Google for spreading lies and misinformation though...

Doing the bidding of mainstream media...

Anyway, the whole page looked pretty much like that... so... I was curious, so I looked at the site.

All his stuff on alphabetical issues are paywalled (I'm guessing you're a subscriber).

He obviously hates people too, so I can see why you like him.

Why do you like to discriminate so much and claim you are for liberty?

Sorry….these guys gheyed the thread and your post was buried. LGBZTQ stuff isn’t even affected by abortion.

Stem cell research: did something get killed to facilitate it? That is already heavily restricted.

In vitro fertilization: what got killed to facilitate it?

Plan B: we’ll that’s up to each state now. Chemical abortion in the first trimester. Not everyone will be OK with it. Many will and can justify that as an allowable kill. Half of all abortions are in the first trimester. (That also means half are not and that’s when babies have to be physically dismantled and people get more squeamish to talk about what an abortion actually is.)

What would I say to my daughter is she was serving 20 years in prison for an abortion? First I would say “what the hell were you doing getting knocked up in Kansas? You couldn’t make it home for 9 months and duck into a Costco or Carls JR?” We’re in California where after 10 abortions you get a free Nissan Leaf electric car.

It would kinda be like if she was up for 20 years in prison for vehicular homicide. I would say “those laws aren’t for people like us! Ha! I’ll make some calls.” Is that what you were fishing for?!
