Torano casa Torano robusto

I think I saw a few guys here mention they like these. I’m enjoying one now. It’s creamy, very mild, really nice. There is something there I can’t put my finger on…maybe a little sweetness? Either way I would definitely get this one again.

Haven’t touched a Torano made in the last 8 years.

Still have some old ones, not many though.

Haven't smoked that one yet and have yet to find a torano I really liked. Have a few Decadencias resting and a few others.

I bought some about 10 years ago. Can’t remember the line, but IIRC they were robies. It’s whatever CBid was selling at the time. Absolutely, some of the crappiest cigars I smoked. Smoked a few. Let them rest a couple years and tried them again. Still turds. Tasted like crude oil mixed with horse****. None of them burned worth a crap either. Ended up sending the leftovers to the sandbox.

I used to like the Signature Series. They were Maduro. Had a unique flavor, but I can see how it wouldn't have been to everyone's taste. I don't think they make those anymore.

The only recent lines I've tried are the Exodus and Exodus 50 Years. The regular Exodus are better, IMO. Not great, but serviceable. I smoke them as a second cigar of the day if I have a second. Never had a Casa Toraño.

smoke what you like.
Like what you smoke.
Don't load up on anything just yet if you are starting out...you won't believe how much your tastes change if you stay with this for a while.

When I was just getting into this, liked the Signature and the Exodus 1959. The Casa Torano was a bit to light for me but I kept buying the Sigs and the 1959.

Looks like you can get the 1959 in some sizes at CI for about $35/5 pack (the robusto's are on back order). That Famous place has the Sigs in a variety of sizes (5 pack of robusto for about $18)

Haven't smoked a Torano for a while. Probably still have some kicking around in a tupador. Not sure on how well they age so they might be over aged by now. Might have to dig one up someday and give it a whirl.

NINE!

Torano, Cusano and the like.
Decent yard gars.

Best buy ever was a Cusano deal many years ago.
Three Lanceros in a NICE leather case.
Cant remember the cigars, but two of them were OK.
The cigar case is awesome, white and black leather, sleeve style, very cool.

The thing about the good Torano’s is they were never strong cigars.

The best (IMO) Torano was their Tribute Maduros, I think I have singles of the 08’ & 09’ that Lou sent me. You think they’re ready now?

Smoked a Torano Fortress rob this morning that was probably about 9 years old or older - still nothing special.

Yep that’s why I liked this . Mild, but kind of interesting. I know it’s not LFD but it was a pleasure for what it was. Plus 5 for $7 can’t be beat

Anytime you can find cigars you like, for around a buck, these days?
Huge win…
