Dunno how many pipers we have left here but I have a few quite old sealed tins here that I'll never smoke. I liked the pipe for a while but I don't know that I'll get back into it. If I do, I still have a small tupperdor full of opened stuff. It's probably been 5 years since I've even packed a bowl.
Most of this is around 8 years old. There's a couple tins with dates printed on them, July 2014.
8oz tin SPC Plum Pudding
1.75oz tin Three Nuns (x2) these are dated 2014
1.75oz tin Dunhill Three Year Matured Virginia (x2)
1.75oz tin Peterson Elizabethian Mixture (x3)
1.75oz Orlik Golden Sliced
2oz SPC Mississippi River
2oz SPC Seattle Evening
2oz SPC Deception Pass
2oz SPC Potlatch
The SPC tins are a cardboard type tin like nuts come in, not a vacuum tin so I don't know how they hold up to age. The others are vacuum tins and sound/feel still tightly sealed. They've all been in a basement cabinet since I bought em. Consistent 55-65f if that's a thing that matters. |
