Democratic California Rep. Nancy Pelosi on Monday appeared to lose her temper when MSNBC host Katy Tur brought up how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the economy under former President Donald Trump.

Before the pandemic in 2020, the economy under the former president experienced a jump in median household incomes as well as an all-time low poverty rate and unemployment rates at a 50-year low, according to a Trump White House press release. Pelosi on “Katy Tur Reports” asserted job losses under Trump were the worst out of all presidents, but Tur noted there was a worldwide pandemic during his presidency.

“And Joe Biden is doing that, created 9 million jobs in his term in office,” Pelosi said. “Donald Trump has the worst record of job loss of any president, so we just have to make sure people know.”

“That was a global pandemic,” Tur responded.

Biden has touted job gains during his presidency, but neglects to mention any effects of the pandemic, according to FactCheck.org. Many jobs gained under the Biden administration have been government jobs.

Moreover, Trump’s economy appeared to be rebounding in the third quarter of 2020 as it was growing after a second-quarter contraction, according to the Conference Board. Despite this, Pelosi asserts his record was the “worst” and accused Tur of advocating for the former president just for mentioning the pandemic’s economic impacts.

“He had the worst record of any president,” Pelosi said, raising her voice. “We’ve had other concerns in our country. If you want to be an apologist for Donald Trump, that may be your role, but it ain’t mine.”

“I don’t think that anybody can accuse me of that,” Tur retorted.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul appeared to call Trump supporters “clowns” on Thursday during a media appearance ahead of the former president’s New York City rally in the Bronx.

“Well, I’ll tell you what won’t make a difference at all, Jake, and that’s for Donald Trump to be a ringleader and invite all his clowns to a place like the Bronx,” Hochul told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

She continued, “New York will never, ever support Donald Trump for president. We know him better than anyone and that means we understand what he’s all about. He’s just for himself. So, this state will go solidly behind Joe Biden for president as it has in the past. So, if he wants to spend his time doing these made-up, fake rallies and pretending there’s support here, be my guest, because while you’re doing that, Donald Trump, Joe Biden’s out there on the other side making sure he’s delivering for all Americans.”

Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters (CA) called Trump supporters “domestic terrorists” during an appearance on MSNBC as she discussed the guilty verdict against Trump.

Waters also said Trump is pushing America toward a civil war.

“Let me just say this, I am worried that he is so divisive and that he is talking about retribution and about revenge and I think that is dangerous. He has even mentioned civil war saying there will be bloodshed,” Waters said.

“I will spend some time with the criminal justice system, with the justice system asking them, tell us what’s going on with the domestic terrorists? Are they Preparing a civil war against us? Should we be concerned? What is he doing with this divisive language? It is dangerous,” Maxine Waters said.

Furious Pelosi Rants on MSNBC, Dismisses Explosive New Video Admitting She’s Responsible for Lack of National Guard on J6!

Governor Kathy Hochul said Thursday that she was considering an at least partial ban on wearing face masks on the New York City subway — citing recent threatening behavior in the system involving masked protesters. During an event in the state capitol where she touted a decrease in shootings across the state, Hochul also brought up an incident following a pro-Palestinian protest at Union Square Park on Monday. Video footage shows a man in a full subway car at the 14th Street–Union Square station beginning a call-and-response chant with other protesters: “Raise your hand if you’re a Zionist! This is your chance to get out!” Some of those chanting on the train wore face masks.

“We will not tolerate individuals using masks to evade responsibility for criminal or threatening behavior. My team is working on a solution, but on a subway, people should not be able to hide behind a mask to commit crimes,” Hochul said.
