Went diving all the way to the bottom of the cellar and came up with a tin of Rattray's Old Gowrie.Just finished off a tin of Hal o the Wynd and enjoyed the hell out of it.So far the OG is just as tasty.....and better balanced.

Anyone carved their own pipe?

Didn't know if I should post here or new thread, but I've been thinking of this for a while. Missed a bid on a pre drilled briar and stem that only needed final finishing.

I've cut n split a bunch of black walnut trees in the woods behind me. I saw a black walnut pipe, which got me thinking and led to this post.

I dunno if id get into smoking a pipe, I used to smoke a pipe when I drove a truck, but now I'm just smoking a cigar here n there. Lately pretty often.

I been thinking of a pipe to smoke my cigar nubs. I have aged dried black walnut and years of carving experience. Where would one buy a stem? Or do I need to diy that ? Also, is black walnut a good wood for a pipe? Or should I just buy a corncob? Last, but most importantly, can I smoke the nub of an incredible cigar in the bowl of a pipe?
