CigarBid is designed to provide a fair and objective auction for all participants. To maintain fairness, we stand by these auction practices and adhere strictly to the following terms and conditions.
Fraud
It is a violation of the law to make bids under a false name or with an invalid credit card. We strongly advise you not to test the auction with false bids, as it will put you at substantial personal legal risk. Fraudulent bidders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Please be aware that even if you do not give us your real name, your Web browser transmits a unique address to us, which can be used by law enforcement officials to identify you. Both the FBI and the US Secret Service are responsible for investigating all Internet fraud cases.
Users attempting to "cheat" the bidding system by altering or tampering with the course of normal bidding, or by editing bids for the purpose of altering bids or prices in a manner in which it was not intended, may have their bids canceled and their account immediately suspended at the sole discretion of CigarBid.
Auction Cancellation Policy
CigarBid reserves the right to cancel an auction or issue a Return Merchandise Authorization for merchandise that is posted in error, does not confirm to specifications or was shipped in error.
Bid Cancellation Policy
All bids are final. Only CigarBid reserves the right to cancel bids.
Order Cancellation Policy
All orders are final. If you must cancel an order prior to shipment, the order is handled as a return and you will be assessed a 15% re-stocking fee. Excessive cancellation may result in the revocation of bidding privileges.
Auction Changes
CigarBid reserves the right to change posted quantities, remove from sale or re-offer items that were previously withdrawn. We also reserve the right to close auctions early or to extend auctions at any time and at our discretion. Posted closing times and displays of CigarBid's current time are approximate and based on eastern standard time.
Lot Descriptions and Images
CigarBid makes every effort to ensure that product descriptions and images are accurate. However, CigarBid is not responsible for typographic or image display errors. Images are for demonstration purposes only. Size, shape, color, and quantity may differ.
System Availability
CigarBid makes every effort to maintain 100% system availability, except during scheduled maintenance periods, which are posted on the site. Should we experience technical difficulties, we are not responsible for bids that are not processed or accepted.
Bid Reinstatement
We keep track of all unsuccessful bids. If a problem occurs with a winning bid in an open auction, CigarBid may reinstate your currently unsuccessful bid to winning status at your last bid price.
Returns Policy
CigarBid strives to bring you the best deals on high-quality cigars, pipes, accessories and more. All our products go through careful inspection before being shipped to our loyal customers. If, however, there is a chance that you receive a defective or damaged item, you may return the item within 30 days upon receipt of the order. Simply, contact Customer Service or call 1-800-830-4590 and our team of customer service representatives will guide you through our easy return process. Please note that returns take 3-10 business days from receiving a return to process.
Cigars — For cigars by the box or bundle of 20 cigars or more, we allow a 1 stick allowance but the remaining cigars must be returned in order to receive full merchandise credit, less shipping charges. If you try more than 1, pro-rata credit is applied, less shipping charges. For samplers and 5-packs, returns must be in new, unopened condition to receive full credit. This includes having cigars in their cellophane wrappers. Please keep the original packaging and any accessories to return with the item and do not return any cut or smoked cigars, as this may affect your refund.
Pipes — If you are not satisfied with your pipe for any reason, you may return the item within 30 days of receipt of your order for an exchange, credit, or refund. Returns take up to 3-10 business days from receiving a return to process. Only pipes that have not been smoked are eligible for return. We stand behind every pipe we sell to be free of defect for one year. Warranty does not include stem, mouthpiece, excess wear and tear, and cracks due to dropping.
Pipe Tobacco — If you feel your tobacco was not manufactured to the highest of standards - or if the tobacco is not what you ordered - please contact us immediately. With the exception of damaged or defective product, only unopened containers are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt of your order.
All Other Merchandise—For any other merchandise outside Cigars, Pipes and Pipe Tobacco, may be returned within 30 days upon receipt of your order for an exchange, credit or refund. Any merchandise returned, must be new and in the packaging with the exception of any damage or defects. Returns take up to 3-10 business days from receiving a return to process.
Lost or Damaged Packages
In the event of missing or damaged merchandise, your order showing delivered but you have not received it, or if the tracking information has not updated for more than 5 business days, please contact us as soon as possible and we will gladly assist. We are unable to resolve any lost orders or missing/damaged merchandise after 45 days from the delivery date.
About CigarBid Products
All cigars auctioned on CigarBid are brand new and in perfect condition, fresh from the manufacturer. All cigar products are stored in a controlled environment under optimum humidity and temperature conditions until shipped. We recommend storing and protecting your cigar purchases in a humidified environment upon receipt of products. CigarBid cannot be held responsible for cigars that are not treated properly by winning bidders. Please contact CigarBid if you have any questions about the proper care of fine cigars. All merchandise and non-cigar products are new, unless otherwise stated. If you have questions, please check with CigarBid prior to placing a bid. CigarBid disclaims all other warranties or conditions, whether express or implied, including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Exchange Policy
All items are offered on a limited time basis, as long as supplies last. CigarBid cannot guarantee continued availability, nor be responsible for a replacement item if an item is unexpectedly out of stock, defective or is missing parts. The dynamic nature of the auction makes it impossible for us to replace or exchange merchandise that is out of stock, defective or missing parts. We do not reserve inventory for replacement or exchanges. However, we may offer such items again in the future as supplies permit.
Customer Service
CigarBid offers a complete range of customer services for customers. Should you have any questions - from placing your first bid, to tracking a package, to resolving a quality problem - contact Customer Service. We commit to respond to your request in a prompt manner (often within one business day). If we have committed an error, we're determined to fix it!
Credit Card Declined / Bad Credit
If your credit card is declined, CigarBid will notify you by phone or email within 48 hours of your order. As a courtesy orders may be held up to one week, however there may be times when a declined order is immediately canceled and given to the next bidder.
$20 cancellation fee will be imposed if your credit card is not resolved in one week's time.
You may contact CigarBid customer service to resolve your problem by:

- filling out a customer service request form (see Customer Service)

- simply reply to the "declined credit card notice" email
If your order is cancelled as the result of a credit card decline you will be assessed a $20 cancellation fee. Please note, cancelled orders cannot be reinstated. Multiple and/or periodic occurrences of this situation may result in account termination at CigarBid.
Account Cancellation Policy
Use of CigarBid is not a commitment to sell. We ask all users to act in accordance with CigarBid procedures, including forum guidelines and bidding procedures. CigarBid reserves the right to cancel or suspend user accounts.
SMS Text Terms and Conditions
To register for CigarBid Text Notifications Service (“Alerts”), please sign into your account, go to the “Notification Preferences” page, click “opt-in” and provide your mobile number. CigarBid will reply with a text message to verify your age. Once confirmed to be over the age of 21, CigarBid will reply with a second text message confirming that you have opted in. Note, to participate, your phone must be text messaging enabled; depending on mobile carrier, plan, and device, CigarBid’s text notification service may not work for everyone.
- Outbid Notification: You will receive one (1) text message each time you have been outbid.
- Won Lot Notification: You will receive one (1) text message each time you have won an auction.
- Special Auctions: You will receive exclusive deals and ultra-private auctions. Message frequency varies.
We will send you a message to confirm your signup. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency will vary based on your use. Text "HELP" for help. Text "STOP" to cancel.
YOU CAN CANCEL THIS SERVICE AT ANY TIME
Just text "STOP" to 63864. After you send the message "STOP" to us, we will send you a reply message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us.
If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending messages to you again.
