Cats are natural predators and even if they are indoor cats their whole life, hunting is in their DNA. It's like trying to get a Labrador to not like water or a Husky to no like snow... ain't gonna happen. He's an indoor cat but stares at birds and stuff outside as if on a hunt. I'm sure if any mice try to get in, he'll be the first to know and deliver a carcass to your feet. "Look what I found, can you get me another? This one seems to not be moving anymore."

Part of me wants to put one of those suction cup bird feeders outside on one of his the window of his perches but that would be mean. Poor Jasper doing face plants against the window while the birds mock him.

I've always had cats and dogs in my life. Humans and many pets are pack animals. They become part of your family (pack) and we become part of their family (pack). I've never owned a horse but I understand that they also have that same relationship with us humans.

Good Monday Afternoon tp All IT's off and on rain today. Spent this morning blowing weeds and mud off the driveway, drains and concrete. We got a heavy shower yesterday that made a mess. The rest of the morning was spent depriving a few hundred handgun and rifle cases.

Danm, I may need a housecall. As I was smoking my cigar last night on the back patio, I watched a large racoon walk along the top of my neighbor's back wall, traverse my back wall, and move on down the line of block walls. It stopped on my wall to stare at me so I shined my flashlight at it, but it seemed uninterested. I made some nooise and it moved on.

I have seen bobcats, javelina, coyotes and rattle snakes in my neighborhood, but this was the first racoon. I think we may need a few more bobcats, javelina, coyotes and rattle snakes to take care the racoon...

I may need to look into a surpressed .22.

Would you even need a suppressor for an air rifle considering theyre legal to shoot in your backyard? I do know a .22 cal pellet rifle will fire a .22 caliber expanding lead pellet at 1000-1200 fps. So it's basically the same as a .22 and even cheaper to shoot so that's good advice from Gene.

Morning gents. Lovely morning here in beautiful NJ. Definitely looking forward to my morning stick since we just found out the cesspool for our small work booth has started backing up, Ahhhh, the smells of the seaport now mixed with the raw sewage, this is the life.

Fasted from Sunday night before 5pm until just a little bit ago. 42 hours. Broke the fast with some bone broth, then a protein smoothie with yogurt, spinach and blueberries.

I weighed 177.5 lbs just now.

Walked the pupper, took momma to the commissary and got a haircut while she was in there. Checked out the bourbon selection to see if I needed anything... nope.
