How about ten days later and doing fine. I have a dozen containers like this some that have been maintained for more than a year. The use and application of silica gel media is real science, solid and proven science decades of it in industry. This video coming from your company is disingenuous and sad.

))))))Sorry it's silly to argue about facts, anyone can do this. Put some of your magic beads in a clear tupperware container with a hygro and come back in 5 hours. That's all you need to do. Then call shenanigans.

I'm sure that the Extech tester is more accurate than most of the testers that are sold for cigars. Extech makes pretty nice "scientific grade/quality" instruments.

As I've always said: "The key thing is not the "numbers" but how the cigars smoke." If you like how your cigars smoke at 70/70 or whatever; then its good. If they are too dry/moist/moldy/etc... change things.

Couple of nice cigars in the bag with the Extech tester!! fog

He said to make your own video to disprove his version of science about beads.

Here is the thread that started this "discussion". http://www.cigarbid.com/...veda-vs-the-competition

RD, Thanks for taking the time to shine some light and clarity into this debate (if you can call it a debate!)

I wouldn't call it a debate as Boveda does work well, just a really expensive option that requires more frequent charging than beads. Both do the job.

But most here that do not have their head in their ass realize that.

I just didn't like the douce bag shills from Boveda spreading their bogus "info". Sorry boveda I'll never give you any coin because of your lame attempt.

Exactly,
Bovida is a great product and has a great reputation. This kind of stuff hurts their credibility
