No San Lotano blends of any kind offered up this week. What gives?! I still want to try the new OVAL CONNECTICUT.

Another cigar pricing itself out of business. By the way, isn't MAP another way of fixing prices which is supposedly illegal? Just wondering.

Pinolero and Mayimbe too. I don't like Mayimbe, so I don't care. San Lotano Oval and Pinolero, I love, so I'm upset. Lol. AJF is upping his game. I'm happy for him, and bummed for me.

AJ thinks he is 'TO BIG' 'TO GOOD', or 'ABOVE' having his better smokes auctioned off at Cigar Bid for four of five bucks. Hope the San Lotano, Mayimbe, and Pinolero stock SITS at C.I. with NO SALES and ages. He will be back at Cigar Bid in a year or two. ram27bat

Generally, yes. I wonder what the Federal Trade Commission would think.

I'm on a Fuente boycott for the same reason. Perhaps these manufacturers are getting a little too cushy or up to their eyeballs in dust or whatever, but it's a buyer's market, so best of luck!

The idea behind MAP is to level the playing field for big internet distributors like CI and its competitors and the small mom & pop/brick & mortar stores. Its not about price fixing. Its about keeping local shops competitive so they don't go out of business.

Yes, its frustrating for us and especially for you, who are used to buying them from us at a lower price. You're not paying through the nose since the price is the same wherever you go. And with free shipping offers at the retail sites, you don't even have that expense. I can see why they do it and don't blame them for trying to help out the little guys.

Those of you who go hang out at your locals probably appreciate the efforts by the manufacturers to keep them alive and competitive.

It is 100% legal for a manufacturer to set a retail price says SCOTUS.
