Not a bad smoke, BUT, cigarbid has to be more truthful in their descriptions. I love
cigarbid, but this description borders on false,

"Fore cigars are made by the folks at Tamboril - the now defunct makers of
Tamboril and Cordova - these medium-bodied smokes used to sell for 4-5 bucks per cigar,
now a great value with this blowout at around 50 cents apiece. Cameroon seed wrappers,
Dominican long-filler. Size: Robusto (5" x 50)"

Ok, these are really, really mild (if you're into mild cigars, buy a truckload of
these!), not medium-bodied. Cameroon seed wrappers? Eh, I'll just take your word on it,
but it looks more like a candela wrapper than anything else. Cameroon is supposed to be
darker than maduros, this one's light as a Connecticut, but with a tinge of green to it,
perhaps that's why they say "Cameroon seed".

My main problem with these sticks is that they are said to be "long-filler".
These were mixed filler at best. At the foot, it looks like a long-filler, but when taken
apart, the tobacco is shredded, like cigarette tobacco.

Another minute point is the size description. Said to be 5" x 50, but are actually
5" x 46.

This smoke was a great deal at $12.95 per bundle, and if you're a mild cigar smoker,
buy as many as you can if these show up again. (They taste like Amaretto flavored cigars
and have a minty smell to them) Construction was decent, but dry (probably due to
shipping), and it burned evenly.

My reason for posting this message is to ask cigarbid to be more straightforward with
their descriptions in the future. I know cigarbid wants to move the product, but I'm
disappointed that these cigars are not medium-bodied nor long-filler. Will I send them
back? NOPE, they're going in my guest humidor for friends.

Cameroon seed (wrapper?)is supposed to be darker than maduros??...I don't think that is true...From what Cameroon wrapped cigars I have had, they look lighter than any maduro I've seen...Sorry to hear about your misfortune Heg...Sounds like you got a bundle of giveaway (to inexperienced smoking friends) or lawnmower smokes.

My Perdomo2's cameroons are darker than my maduros. I'll smoke the Fores once in a while, they're pretty good cigars. I'm just gonna be giving them to the mild cigar smokers I know :) I'm more of a medium to full smoker myself.

Cameroons are usually quite a bit lighter than Maduro. But I guess wrappers from different manufacturers can really vary. The majority of cigars that I smoke are Nicaraguan with Cameroon wrappers. The ultimate combo!!

Cameroons are lighter than maduros, not even close! Sure there are some light maduros out there, like I can't tell the difference between a regular Puros Indios and a maduro, but the typical maduro is much darker. The sungrown are also just a tad darker in most cases.

Cigar colours are determinated by the outside leaf - the wrapper - and are generally divided on six different categories. Maduro Dark brown, like black cofee. Tradicional Havana colour, with a rich flavour, sweet taste. Colorado maduro Dark brown, aromatic, with a rich flavour, used on the best Honduran cigars. Colorado Reddish dark brown, aromatic, used by Cameroon wrappers on well matured cigars. Colorado Claro Medium Brown, used on some Dominican Republic brands. Claro Pale brown, also called natural, neutral flavour, used on Conneticut shade wrappers. Double claro Greenish brown , called candela and AMS - American Market Standard, with wrappers that haven't achived matutity. Very mild, bland. Ahhhhhhh ... the power of 'cut and paste'...

Interesting subject. When I looked up Fore in my 1999 Perelman's guide they were talking about the Fore cigars that used to come in the glass tube with a golf ball on top. The description was quite different from Cigarbid's and I assumed it was an older version of the cigar. Maybe not. Here is what Perelman's says: "Introduced in 1997, you'll find this Java-wrapped brand in a glass tube inside a box of 30 cigars, each containing a medium to full-bodied, short-filler cigar." Wrapper: Indonesia Binder: Dominican Republic Filler: Dominican Republic

hedge- Why pick apart a description for such a crap cigar to begin with? You know what your getting here without reading past the price and the name. And yes maduros are TYPICALLY darker. I've seen it go the other way but not too often. Suggestion, analyze a cigar worth smoking!! With love.
