I smoked a Bohemian today that Rick gave me and here is the review requested of me. The smoke was Revolution (Predator). I lit it up in the Car on the way to the in-laws. The smoke started out cedary and the aroma was pretty good. The taste didn't change for the first one 3rd and than it turned herbal. The herbalness intensified until I put it to rest on the ashtray of the in-laws backyard. Overall the smoke was light bodied in my opinion. Although I tend to steer toward fuller bodied smokes (any Cuban, Indian Tabac Super Fuerte), this cigar did not disappoint me; a cigar gifted always taste better than one bought, unless of course the gifter wouldn't smoke it them self.

Non-Cuban smokes I’ve liked better were: Indian Tabac Super Fuerte(Robusto), Perdomo Fresh rolled Wheel(Toro), Takoma, Indian Tabac(Boxer) and Te-Amo Anniversario(Toro). Smokes I’ve found to be less appealing: Wall Street(Toro), Vegas de Fonseca(Churchill), Punch Punch, Macanudo(Hide Park) and Bad Frog. I’ve had little experience with non-Cuban smokes (I live north of the 49th). So I’d like to here other reviews of this smoke, the others I’ve tried and the ones I have yet to try.

Thanks for the smoke Rick

I find the Predator line to be a fair smoke. There is no depth to flavor profile but it is far from a dog rocket. I really like the Dos Capas because they can take a good chewing on. They are well suited for running around and outdoor activities. Not your premium cigar by any means, but definately worth having in my humidor for less formal occasions.
You have actually smoked a Bad Frog?? WOW!

I've found these to be great golf cigars because with the dos capas double wrapper they hold up well to the "pick it up, put it down" required of a golf cigar. They also stay lit pretty well while resting. It is a good but not great cigar at a moderate price as I usually don't smoke the great cigars while playing golf...I prefer to sit back and savor a great cigar with a Remy...which is also hard to truly appreciate on the links during play. I actually perfer the "Sidewinder".

I pretty much lit it, took 5 or so puffs and decided some smokes only neeed to be smoked one tenth of the way down
