I smoked a Bohemian today that Rick gave me and here is the review requested of me. The smoke was Revolution (Predator). I lit it up in the Car on the way to the in-laws. The smoke started out cedary and the aroma was pretty good. The taste didn't change for the first one 3rd and than it turned herbal. The herbalness intensified until I put it to rest on the ashtray of the in-laws backyard. Overall the smoke was light bodied in my opinion. Although I tend to steer toward fuller bodied smokes (any Cuban, Indian Tabac Super Fuerte), this cigar did not disappoint me; a cigar gifted always taste better than one bought, unless of course the gifter wouldn't smoke it them self.
Non-Cuban smokes I’ve liked better were: Indian Tabac Super Fuerte(Robusto), Perdomo Fresh rolled Wheel(Toro), Takoma, Indian Tabac(Boxer) and Te-Amo Anniversario(Toro). Smokes I’ve found to be less appealing: Wall Street(Toro), Vegas de Fonseca(Churchill), Punch Punch, Macanudo(Hide Park) and Bad Frog. I’ve had little experience with non-Cuban smokes (I live north of the 49th). So I’d like to here other reviews of this smoke, the others I’ve tried and the ones I have yet to try.
Thanks for the smoke Rick
