I still haven't turned up any Ipanema's yet, but I just got a catalog from another retailer and they are selling Brazilia Lambadas. They are a 6x50 and come in a humidor box of 40. Does anyone know if either of these are a cigar we'll see either here or at CI anytime soon? None of my locals have much of a CAO selection :(

My feeling is that they were made for that particular site, however I may be wrong about that. I'll wait for Jon Huber to chime in. X

All CAO's are superb cigars, especially the Brazila line!

Just picked up an Impanema this week and hope to smoke it this weekend when the time is right. Saw those Lambadas (out of stock). It may be made only for that retailer. Picked up one of the "CAO ToGo" boxes a few months ago and is setting in my humidor. Supposedly they are both special sized Golds and Brazilias but I haven't measured them yet. The Brazilia looked like a the Amazon size but it may be the Lambada size. I'll have to dig them out and check.

If it's the same blend, I'll be wanting to try some. Anxiously awaiting first review.

I like CAO, and wanted to try the Brazilia. The guy at my local store talked me out of buying some..he said they had a really bad bite to them. Last week I was out of town and did buy an Impanena. I was disappointed. It did have a bad bite, and I almost couldn't get through the first part of it. It did mellow in the middle, but got harsh toward the end. Not enjoyable. I've read great things about this cigar, and I will try again but I was wondering if there was anyone else out there that did not enjoy the Brazilia?

I had accumulated a few of the GOLs and stashed them for awhile. I recently decided to try one. They looked SO good. Heavy, perfect construction, shiny and dark. It lit up easily and had an excellent draw. But wow, very harsh flavor. I was mortified, but stuck it out. I'm glad I did, after the first 1/8 inch or so, it did a complete turnaround. It got extremely smooth and exhibited that consistency of smoke that you only get from very high quality cigars. I have to admit though that the flavor didn't really grab me. It was also just too powerful for me to be enjoyable. I finished it but didn't nub it. The flavor just didn't warrant the struggle (everytime I think I'm a pro, a gar like this comes around and humbles me. I'm almost afraid to look at the antano I've got sitting). I plan on doing what everyone seems to wish they could do and let them age. If time doesn't bring them around for me, I'll make someones day and trade out some well aged Brazilias.

The Brazilia can sure be flavorful. I have been really enjoying this line and paying heavy attention to the Samba and all I can say is wow. They can also pack a punch. I like the taste and bite of these cigars. The more of them I smoke the better I like them. I bought a box of the Impanenas without trying one. I am still pretty new to cigar smoking so I can be an impulsive shopper and bidder. I saw them in that beautifully decorated box and I just bought them. I do prefer to smoke churchills and these are a round cigar, so they feel different in your hand. I like that about this line round. I puffed the first one yesterday afternoon and I wasn’t disappointed in fact I am very pleased. I have found an excellent cigar for short money. The cigar lasted two and quarter hours. Damn I wish it were still going. I puffed till it hurt my fingers. Samba is inline to be burnt this afternoon, but I’m gonna start with a CAO Cammie Toro. Happy Puffin

Welcome back Stickbow, I'm with you, the CAO Ann. Cammie Toro or Belicoso is the CAO for me.
