With just over a month of owning a humidor, my addiction to CB has filled it. And this is a 150 stick humidor!! How could this have happened so fast? When I read all of your posts saying how addicting this site was, I thought "HOGWASH".. I stand corrected. But at least I've got some smokes to keep me occupied when I start having to attend the 'meetings'. ((;

On a side note, I tried a La Aurora tonight (don't know the make/model). Excellent smoke all the way up to the point where the wrapper split. /: I managed to smoke it down to a little before the band though. Ash was tight and bright white. Easy draw, and had a nice toasty flavor on first lighting it.

My name is Mr_Vance and I'm a CigarBidaholic. I went for years with a modest 40 count humidor and a couple of small Tupperdors for occasional overflow.

Then.....this is so hard for me......I found Cbid. Now I have a 150 display humidor and four 50 quart coolerdors. I have a closet which once held my most cherished sweaters, but now.....(sob)it contains nothing but cigars.

Save yourself while you still have a chance, before you become a fat, smoke belching old fart. LOOK AT ME D@MN IT!! Is this what you want to become?

Send all your cigars to me and never, ever look back!

Welcome aboard the CBid train of lost souls and full humidors. Ain't it great!?

The fun part is when you try NOT to bid. It's like trying to quit smoking .. only smoking.

I have only tried out one of the La Aurora's and it was terrific.

Seven weeks into the cigar hobby and already, my 60 ct humidor is filled. What's next for me? A tuppador.

I will not buy any more cigars for the time being...I will not buy any more cigars for the time being.

Keep repeating this mantra and after you get bored, go place some bids.

P.S. The Petite Belicoso is my favorite vitola from La Aurora.

my drybox holds 150 sticks! Sorry, that just won't do. You need a cooler.

You are hooked aux!
The only way out is Devine intervention. Try to only go online for bidding during thunder storms. If lightning strikes and wipes out your PC then you should consider it time to stop acquiring cigars. Otherwise, party on! BUD

I'm new to CB and just placed a few bids. I was a little apprehensive. It seems like you can really get some good deals - can you really trust the product??

You can definitely trust the good people at Cbid. Not only are the product top notch but so are the people running the show. The customer service people here are legendary with fixing any minor problems that occur immediately. I've been ordering things here for 6 months and have not had even one problem.

"my drybox holds 150 sticks! Sorry, that just won't do. You need a cooler."

I prefer a cooler because it is less prone to temp. swings. I usually get up with the baby in the morning and shut the bedroom door so the wife can get some much needed sleep. The rental I'm in while I remodel our house has a floor heater in the LR so the BR gets cold in a short time during the winter. Fortunately my wife's got plenty of down between her and the cold air. More importantly, my stogies are well insulated. :)

There is no recovery. There is no help. There is no support or understanding outside of this board. There is only overwhelming feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, despair, self-recriminations, guilt, isolation, pain, blackness, financial ruin, deceit, self-deception, covering up, endless rationalizations attempting to justify an illogical, unreasonable behavior..............and lots and lots of cigars, lighters, humidors, accessories, etc.

Have a nice day!

(P.S. Sam's Club has their 120 quart Marine Coolers for only $37.97. Bought ten (10) yesterday.)

Let me just say this "I PROMISE you will never find customer service to beat the fine ladies and Germs that work here :-). I had another problem that was no prob after customer service found out about it. I even got Trish to stop calling me Mr. LOL. trust me the quality is good the service is excellent and the prices well those are up to you LOL.

I bid like a wild man when I first cam to this fine place because I though my bids were so low that there was NO WAY I could win. Well, I won them all. LOL Since then I have learned.

I now have a 300 cout huni and a 175 count humi and a bedoudour that holds 500 sticks. they are all full and I hope to have my Cubans coming in next week. And if you as these ladies and germs on here 975 sticks are not a lot ROFLOL to me it's a store.

Now about those bad samplers........LOL

Damn! 10 coolers!! I would just go ahead and build me a humidor out of one of my closits if I ever needed that much storage. Seeing as it would take at least that much space to store all those cooadors anyway. Happy smoking.....

I have built 2 70 quart coolidors in the last 2 weeks. I have also bought about 125 sticks from CBID, and 2 premium boxes elsewhere.

Wife is going to utter the most feared of all words when the bill comes.

I found some upright Coleman coolers on ebay. Mine works great. I have some finishing touches before I post photos here but if you want, post your email and I'll send you some shots.

BTW, don't worry about it. If you don't smoke alot, the worst thing that can happen is you'll have some nicely aged smokes down the road and, oh yeah, you could go broke.
