Marla, I am truly sorry for your loss. I don't know how I missed your original post, but your in my prayers now. I have been in law enforcement for 35 years and I have seen many families waver back and forth between absolute justice and compassion. There have been times I myself have felt sorry for the perpetrator and then questioned my own sanity. I support your vision of the outcome of this tragedy.
