^1 Slim, I'm not 100% sure, but I'll bet it had to do with the threads between Bro. Shawn and his unmasking of Tuckersdad new Cigarbid Forum identity which then developed into a heated exchange.

Having seen my friend Shawn in action on previous occasions, I thought he remained much more under control than sometimes in the past, but apparently not in the eyes of those who have the ability to call for his Involuntary Hiatus.

Yes, I removed his posting privileges. I let a lot slide, but that was too much. There's no need for that crap on the forum. Keep the soap opera off the boards, along with the poor language.

Definitely not good news. I hope this is only temporary. If not I really need to reconsider if I want to be in here anymore.

All these lifetime bans are getting on the silly side. I do not know exactly what happened here, and have taken heat for understanding (not necessarily agreeing but understanding...two different things) some of the other bannings.

I seriously think all the lifetime bans shoud go away. If the senior asshat is gone for good this is a worse place for it. And I've never threatened to take my marbles and go home.... but I may need to.

Not that the powers that be would care.... and many in here would celebrate :)

The only thing I see is MACS giving Tuckersdad a hard time for popping in under a different alias.

Since SteveR has specifically demonstrated THROUGH BOTH WORDS AND HIS ACTIONS that changing ones name and returning to the board is verboten. It seems to me that MACS was just helping SteveR do his job.

I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. But I'd think since this Tapout guy got his second identity yanked the instant he posted under it, that the same should happen to Tuckersdad.

but he is not shy, nor does he ever put a leash around himself. what he says here he believes in. firmly. and this can lead to some sketchy situations.

he's a friggin' sailer for crying out loud. you ever heard the term, "swearing like a sailor?"

now, i don't claim to know what he was banne dfor, but i'm sure it was warrented. i mean, why would stever ban him without reason? or ban anyone without reason.

while i don't like it that he is banned, i am not going to proclaim that "I WILL NOT POST UNTIL HE IS ALLOWED BACK..."
