Can't say I feel a bit sympathetic for the kid... if he'd waited until he was a bit older, his parents might have been eager to school him on the finer things in life...

Yours,
Sheila

his parents should have taken it away.

to embarrass him on a web site is unforgiveable.

these are stupid parents.

What's wrong with public embarrassment? When did we as a society come to the incorrect conclusion that pain and embarrassment is a bad thing?

I teach martial arts to kids and once I asked a young girl (around 8 yrs) to do a technique that I just showed. She did it completely wrong because she wasn’t paying attention. When she did it wrong I told her it was wrong, I told her she wasn’t paying attention, and that she owed me 10 push-ups for not listening to her teacher. You know what she did? She started crying in class…

Now you might be saying that I was out of line because I pushed her too far. But here’s news for you… the kids tell their parents my class is their favorite because I discipline them. They know where the boundaries are, they’re clearly defined, and they know the consequences for going over them. The girl is still in class and she pays attention now. Go figure…

Here’s news for you Rick, life gets painful and embarrassing at times. Better get them to get used to it now, or else you have a kid who shots another kid simply for calling him a name.

I don't think that I would have been that theatrical in a public forum.

I would have simply picked up the little liar a foot off the ground & dragged his carcass down to a shelter where I would have made HIM give his "toy" away.

This kid sounds like a future "Top 500" CEO--if he survives.

I'm surprised she's not suing the Playstation company...

Hey, serves him right. I think it was a waste of time for the parent to go through the whole story on the site, like kids really read the stuff on it. But I agree with Blood. It would have been more of a lesson to make him give it away to someone less fortunate. "Top 500 CEO"....more like a future Head of State the way we're goin.

Check Snoops. I head on the radio this was just a story. Never happened.

I have not had the chance to check Snoops myself.

Here is my theory. None of that happened. This seller is trying to come up with a interesting, contraversial way of listing his item. (Like the wedding dress guy)

Just my thought.......oh, and if it was my kid....I would have sold it on ebay, but wouldn't have said all that.

what you did in the class situation was perfectly correct.

but you didn't announce it on tv, or in the case of his parents, on ebay.
