HAS RICK BEEN CENSORED

i had a nice little discussion group going with all the pros and cons with my cute picture of bush as a devil.

i can't seem to find it anymore.

has my post been pulled because a few people complained they didn't like it.

i personally don't much care for the almost nude pictures, "oionks of the day" but hey that is the price one pays for being on a board with people with different ideas of what is intresting.

i can't believe that a tiny minority could influence this board.

i even made a mistake posting a picture that i didn't realize had pictures of people falling from the twin towers for which i apologized.

i posted a picture of bush dressed like hitler. i don't remember whether i said it might have been in bad taste. upon reflection, it was not in bad taste.

i have never spoken anything nasty about any posters. i even ignored the stupidity of the poster that suggested toby might be a man.

i have spoken against the use of religion to force laws i don't like, but that is my privilege. i am allowed to fight back.

i have been told to go * myself by one female poster and it was left on the site.

i have been threatened with physical harm and ridiculed personally be some of the posters who can't fight back with a decent rebutal and have to resort to their stupid remarks, twisted, paranoid, liberal pinko commie.

i have been accused of bad taste. probably true, but this board gets a little quiet when i go away for a few weeks.

i don't really care if i am liked or not. i try to post provocative ideas that force people to think.

i will continue unless i am banned from the board.

i hope this rant is all in vain and that my bush the devil just didn't show up on a search.

i would rather be embarrassed by my inability to use the computer properly and could not find my post then to find myself the object of censorship.

have a happy day.

in 1939, when we lived in the projets, some tall lady came to visit the poor kids and see what she could do to help, i believe. i don't remember the horns or a tail, but i do remember there was no one taking pictures.

i went home and told my mother, "some lady named rosy came to the school today."

even though my email is posted regularly, i have never had any one email me with anything negative, not even you when i push you to your limit.

i think most people take my posts for what they are, catalysts.

A substance, usually used in small amounts relative to the reactants, that modifies and increases the rate of a reaction without being consumed in the process.

One that precipitates a process or event, especially without being involved in or changed by the consequences.

No, Rick, I do not think they censored you as such, just pulled one of your postings! LovelyRed did not seem to be censored, just the pictures and responses stirred up some hormones and they locked that one post up! cates81 or whatever that goofball's handle was had a bad habit of pimping nudies of his girlfriend, the one with the backward arm, LMAO!

Let's just keep on passing the "love" around and maybe have a group singing of Kumbaya or something along those lines!

Interesting to see offensiveMaven turn into DefensiveMaven. And since Rick seems a little on edge, I better put a smiley so he knows it's all in good fun, or else I may be accused of being immature. :)

For the record Rick, I am a card carrying member of the tinfoil hat league. I just disagree with your methods.

Rick,

No feel bad, my posts were pulled. I guess marrying a 15 yr old, raising 2 successful adults being together for 23 yrs is not only inciteful, but downright disgusting. I just posted by celebration of upcoming events with my wife.

I should have posted made children, dumped them and now starting new family.

That would have been acceptable.

So you are not alone.

damn, i didn't think i was playing defense. i must be tired. after my nap, i'll try to be more offensive.

it is a wise man that disagrees, not with my message, but my methods.

i look forward to someone else with the cajones to post liberal sites and copy and pastes and face the angry mob. they are a mad lot, they are.

i notice no one has brought up the BS black box voting with the no paper trail manufactured by one of bush's supporters and the brother of one of the bush supporters. does someone dare to mention the subject. how aboput the "intelligence reform bill" that will soon get signed into law as soon as bush can find his pen. i notice he uses a ball point pen. they don't want him to sign with a fountain pen because he always dribbles on the paper.

A fedora, isn't that what Indiana Jones wore? Or maybe it was Freddy Krueger. Can't remember.

Either way it would be pretty funny to see a posted picture of cexshun wearing a tin foil fedora.

"Fedora" is a generic term for a mans hat that has a relatively low crown which is creased lengthwise and has a curled brim

Fedoras that are famous:

Gangsters wore them a lot
Humprey Bogart---think Maltese Falcon, Big Sleep, Treasure of Serria Madre, Casablanca, etc
Indiana Jones
LA Confidential-worn by a lot of the dectectives
Bruce Willis
Mel Gibson in "What Women Think", when he was doing the dance scene to the Frank Sinatra song.
Frank Sinatra famous for fedoras

It would be funny to see someone in a tinfoil fedora!

O.K. Rick when I get back from out of town I want to see you post a pick in a tinfoil Fedora. But as a far as the demon post of, I think it was Charles Grodin because you would not do that to Bob Newhart. They should have just left it up. I mean the damage had been done and it left everyone a chance to respond to your lovely art work.

Wow Reid! I remember the pictures of you and your lovely young bride. Sort of hard to imagine someone pulling the plug. Yea, I do remember some folks making disrespectful remarks about those pics. Anyway, you and your missus were a handsome couple. You had pics of your daughter too, in the ROTC I believe. Good looking kid. Oh well, just shows you what a crazy illogical place the world can be.

primate and I agree once again. I saw the post and thought that's great. You stayed together and raised a wonderful family. I did not find it offensive at all and surprised they pulled it. I mean you have 11 12 13 years old girls getting pregnant and a man marries a younger woman because he is in love with her and it's sick. I'm not saying it's right for everyone but it worked for you. It's a cultural thing. Most bible scholars believe Mary to have been as young as 13 and no more than 15. I have a daughter and she will not be getting married at 15, she will not even date till she is at least 20. LOL

Well it appears that by removing RICKAMAVEN's post CBid has chosen to become political. There have been numerous posts here, as well as some personal attacks that I have found personally offensive that CBid did not pull. I was man enough to live with it which is more than I can say of the few crybabies here that obviously influenced CBid's decision. If CBid pulls one they should have pulled all.

The only way to register my protest is economically. I have spent around $1,000 here over the past year and have brought about a half-dozen individuals to this site. I will make no further purchases here and will try to influence my friends to do likewise. There is plenty of competition to CBid (and Cigars International) that will be happy with my business.

This is a sickening sign of the growing censorship in this country that will lead it to hell. So I say to hell with CBid.

Goodbye,
Wagner

marla, you seem to think your ability to say **** makes you one of the "guys" it really doesn't. it does make you appealing to the adolescents on the board, and out of respect i didn't mention your name.

unfortunately you are going through the, my daughter is young and attracting the men i used to attract, so i'll try to be sexy and the guys will pay attention to me. adult men don't find crass language and behavior attractive.

i remember trading emails with you and i thought of you as a nice lady, which i suspect under this mask of
"Yeah, I have cajones...........big, hairy vulgar ones....................Marla" you probably still might be.

if you could only accept your current life, which appears to be succesfully earned, and stop trying to be the cutsy, sexy, high schoolish, you no longer are, you might find some peace in yourself.

you ain't what you were, and trying to be it again by playing with boys won't change anything.

just accept yourself for where you are now, a nice middle aged lady who still maintains her appearance.

this board does belong to cbid. we are tenants. if they found a particula post offensive, they have a right to remove it.

i haven't had posts pulled before and on this one i may have pushed the envelope too much.

i'm still bidding and buying here, and i will still push the political envelope.

please do't leave because i had a thread removed. stay and stick in your thoughts and ideas when ever you are so inclined.

this board can make room for those who disagree with the majority of narrow, bigoted, mindless bush worshipers that infect this board.

it's good to open a window and let some fresh air in.

I wear hats all the time. Started after numerous mini and not so mini surgeries on my nose and face due to sun damage. I have a nice brown fedora in my closet. Very nice hat, kind of stiff and dressy, but I usually wear larger brims. Rick, doesn't the Clinton girl remind you a lot of the young Eleanor?
