It was bound to happen eventually. I received a 5 Vegas Humidor & Corona package that came to me shattered and I need to return it. I am waiting to hear back from them and thought I'd check around in the meantime.

Anybody have experience with Customer Service or Returns? Good things? Bad?

(By the way, the 5 Vegas look tasty with some very yellow cello! I don't want to send back the cigars!!)

CB's Customer service people are 1st rate! They truly understand how important their customers are. Vicky is a doll!! Do not fret they will make it right!

Sometimes after I've won a bid I discover that I could have gotten the sticks somewhere else cheaper....but you know what....I like doing business with CB. Customer service is more important to me than getting the rock bottom cheapest price for my sticks. CB's got my business because they truly know how to do business!!

call the CI 1-800 number, they will straigthen it out right away, unfortunately I have had my share of damaged cigars come from them, because in the past my items were shipped by UPS and somewhere between CI and me the boxes were beat the hell out of. But even sometimes when I win an auction and the cigars themselves were second rate, they always replaced them and never questioned my word. I feel bad having to contact them about these matters in the past for they are such good people and really go the extra step, but now that my packages are delivered by the post office, I seldom have problems. But just call them, you will be treated right.

I have nothing but good things to say about cigbid's customer service. I've had problems with shipping and with merchandise received damaged and cigbid always fixed the problem. I have a buddy who works with the UPS shipping department (loading/unloading trucks) and he says that guys have contests to see how badly they can damage a box without actually busting it open. If boxes are marked "FRAGILE" or anything like that, those are the first ones to bounce off the walls. Anyway, just call the 1-888 customer service number at the top of your invoice and they'll take care of you. They obviously value their customers, and that's what keeps me coming back.

I'm surprised that you had to write this post. I understand that problems do occur, but the customer service has been so quick to respond that you may have had your answer before you finished typing it !

Well, as has been mentioned above, customer service was pretty quick to respond. I received an email addressing the problem at about the same time I got in touch with them on the phone. Of course they are taking care of it and sending me another humidor. Nice.
