There are several good RP's imo. The Vintage 1979, Decade Cameroon and Sun Grown Maduro off the top of my head.

I like the Decade, Sungrown Maduro and Super Ligero.

The Super Ligero needs about a year of rest before it gets good, but I don't think Rocky makes that blend anymore.

The sun grown maduro is a winner. 79 is too. I have some decades but not certain which ones

I think rocky put out some bad smokes in the 2000s that sorta hurt their image a bit.
Not to the level of Gurkha which is sad because Gurkha can make good cigars but they offer too much trash and brag it up as though it should be excellent.

I agree, I definitely like the sun grown maduro. Haven’t tried the 79. I was disappointed with the 90 and 92, and never really gave the vintage series another thought. I’ll pick up the 79 and give it a try now.

Tough to call due to bad circumstances - shoveling snow in the cold. It was a bit peppery in the last third and went out a couple of times. It was only a couple of weeks off the truck.
