68933 - Warped Chinchalle

I didn't get much of that "buttery shortbread" out of this one although it was enjoyable. This one only had about one weeks rest so I will wait longer on the second. So far I liked the Serie Gran Reserva 1988 more.

Neither did I. Obviously Delta has a much more developed palate than either one of us. jester

Chef Grant was a cool guy and I always enjoyed my interactions with him at the cigar events. RIP Braddah!

68946 -- Warped Chinchalle...thought I'd revisit to see what's what...ummm......... no buttery shortbread in this one...there was a creamy sweetness on the retrohale, very unique...but not buttery.... nor shortbread...

didn't even get a cookie-like flavor, which I refined/sensed as shortbread from the other one...

In ref: Opus X Lost City....I bought a box of pyramids in 2014, when they cost a lot less than current prices...I don't remember the exact price, but somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 each...at the time, that was about my limit for a single cigar, and I rarely ventured that deep...this was the next to last of that box, so it was aged about 7 years...it was a nice cigar and I should've bought two boxes...then...

Are they worth today's price of $310/box of 10 pyramids? I haven't upped my limit to $30 + for a cigar...except on rare occasions, like at Casa Fuente in Las Vegas (I went higher), or when looking for something special as a gift...but I wouldn't buy another box at that price...

First time trying an RP. Acquired this past May in an overpriced sampler that also contained 3 OX and 3 pretty good "regular" Fuentes.

Celebration smoke to mark the Packers clinching the NFC North after a wild game against the Ravens

The cigar came from a trade with Stinger back in 2016 for basically, a bottle of Goose Island 2015 Bourbon County Brand Stout and some trade cred. Iirc, we smacked each other around pretty good.

Was a helluva game with a young QB that will only get better. Not sure if he’ll be a Raven next year but his future looks bright. As far as going for 2, I thought it was the right decision. Darnell Savage made a heck of a play but half an inch too late and the ball might have been caught by Mark Andrews.

John Harbaugh is a great coach, he’ll figure it out.

Yeah it’s frustrating to lose to the Steelers in the same fashion. I miss the ravens having a solid defense. And that young man playing qb deserves to be starting somewhere. For sure
