76562 - Padron 3K NT

When I first got into cigars I determined I like the maduro wrapper Padrons better. Then I tried a Damaso and really liked it. So stuck with that and maduros. Time to go back to naturals after a few years to try as I noticed my palate or taste in cigars has been changing a little lately.

76564 - Punch Diablo

A decent cigar but on the full side for my tastes. I really liked that the band was loose so it was easy to remove. This is my new criteria these days for finding cigars I like. I detest cigars with any band I have to tear the wrapper to get the band off. I will put up with Tatuaje Miami's with their little paper bands because they are worth the effort.Angel

I will second this ( cigar band issues)
Illusione……I like a lot of their cigars……….not a fan of some of their bands.
For the Bonbone, they switched ( a few years back??) to a weird, plastic type band, that I simply cant remove without a knife………..exceptionally annoying!

Oh, how could I forget? Band removal ability 5/10. Better than average, but there were multiple bands slightly decreasing the score.

I am coming up short looking for HendriX. Possibly an autocorrect from Gispert?

NVM, I found it...

76592 -- My Father La Promesa, toro, great 1.75 hour cigar...among the best of the lines

My Father cigars come with very artistic, colorful and well designed eye catching bands. This cigar had a double band. Both bands were constructed with thicker paper than most, and were lightly glued. Very easy to slip a fingernail under a corner of the band and pull it off without hurting the cigar.

I appreciate the band removal info. Years ago I actually got a whole replacement box (10) from the "Place" after I complained that each band had glue stuck to the wrapper. The replacement box had the same issues.d'oh!

I wish all cigars were like this, like easy open prescription bottles.

#76,622 - Warped Gran Reserva 1988

Second one from a box split last February.

Edit: Band removal rating 9.0. Waited till the cigar had gone down to about 3/8” from the band. Some resistance but ultimately was able to peel it off without too many casualties.
