Having had a few of the original many years ago and remembering they were one of the best blends Pete ever produced I just had to get a few of these to compare. I'm not saying these are not enjoyable but just that the SA wrapper does not do justice to this one IMO.

What did you think?

76839 - 601 Blue romusto
76840 - CAO Pilón romusto, worst band ever. It had a seal on top of the seam, so the best I could do was tear off scraps of the band until eventually I got it all off. 0/10
76841 - AF WOAM '13 from Palama, which was excellent. First one of those I have had. Thanks so much Conan. It had much more body than I was anticipating given that it was 10 years old. The band stuck to the wrapper, but it was worth it.

Right on! Glad your first WOAM was memorable. Sorry about the band. I'll bring that up to Carlitos next time I see him. Laugh

This was #4 of a 5 pack, smoked at the 6 month mark and I liked it. The first 3 I likely smoked to soon and was pretty unimpressed. Then again, I have the pallete of a caveman...

From a 2019 inventory thinning by Napalm. These were from a 2003 crop and rolled in 2006.

Edit: BRR - 9.5 - finding the starting point took some effort but other than that, the band peeled off as easily as a gentlemen’s club stripper.

Saved this for a special celebration. Remarkably good smoke, I understand the hype now. Thanks Telecaster!!

Band removal 8/10. Was difficult to get off but didn’t tear the wrapper.

Hailed as a visionary in Puerto Rican tobacco... at least according to the box. Also allegedly holds the world record for largest cigar. Gift from the BIL when they went to P.R. it's the thought that counts

Actually a decent smoke for pulling weeds and trimming hedges. I've definitely had worse.
