Yes they were but they went on a downward spiral. The first one I smoked fit the CI description which included a flavor of sweet red wine. I still have a few left that may be those OR. Despite smoking over 150 Gurks this year I still have 50 or so that are above yard gar status. It's a challenge to properly smoke an Ancient Warrior presidente as they burn for around 2 hours.

It was certainly no little feat (...music fans - see what I did there?...) and hopefully your stout submission to Guinness is quickly approved. Couple of quick questions:

1. Will there be a Gurkhafest #3?
2. If so, will you be aiming to beat this years marks?
3. Lastly, what did you learn from the first two ‘Fests that will help next year (...assuming you 3peat...)?
