About a month ago I won an auction and then received an e-mail from CB that my product was on back order and would be shipped when re-stocked. I e-mailed customer service to tell them that I had not ordered an item but won an auction they just replied that their supplier would fill the order when stock came in.
Anyone else had a similar experience?

I had a product out of stock once, and they called and offered a comparable item.

sammydaddy: The first time that happened to me was for the golfers gift set which I received two days later no charge for shipping. Two days ago I received a shipment with Macanudo Hyde Park box/6 on back order which will be sent when stock comes in with free shipping. Call customer service if you want or be patient you will receive your order either way. JonR

I had a similar situation not long ago. I called customer service and they gave me the opportunity to cancel the order. They were so nice and accomodating it became a non-issue. If you have any complaints, CB will take care of you.

Believe it or not this happened to me on the very first bid I ever won here. I was patient and it has never happened again. I've got some great deals here. Although I was quite skeptical at the time. ORV

Nope. Got somebody else's order once and sent it back. Got a nice "thank you" from customer service. You're all right: CB is a great place to get your cigars.
