Who are the godless rich? When you're ready to fight them and get them out of power, how will you recognize them.

Since you've decided the "wealthy" are your enemy, have you ever actually done anything to stop them?

Take any of their wealth? Anything? You waiting for someone to do it for you?

They are laughing at you.

Hey Brewha why are you blaming everything on the rich and saying that they are oppressing you? I mean, no, you haven't really done that, but HockeyDad is making a pretty good effort to convince the others (he already has convinced ZRX) that you are. So, why are you? You are aren't you?

Of course not. Hell, you would have to be an illiterate, close minded, stupid . . . .
Wait,
never mind.

Let me put it this way;
To let the privileged 1% rule the country in not democratic, while their lap dogs would tell you it is.
And they do.

First it was the top 10% have 70% of the wealth, now we're at the privileged 1%.....

If it is not just idle rhetoric, what do you propose to do about it? What have you done about it? Are you still waiting for the government to fix it even though Obama is one of "them" one percenters?

Knowledge being power, all of us understanding the reality of the big picture would be my first proposal of action. That’s the only reason I piped up over the original posting – It is fact stacking and designed to lead people emotionally, rather than have them really consider the nature of society, much less our government.

‘We’ are supposed to fix things, because ‘we’ are supposed to be the government. However, this is just at theory.

I am still waiting for a country that isn’t lead by the media – of course it won’t come, because people love to be lead – a bit too much for my liking.

Got a Joke for you HD;

Know why the French don’t play base ball?
Because if they did there would only be a left field, and no one would be safe.

The parable in the OP is B.S.

The restaurant analogy is bogus - it assumes that all of the diners have the same meal. When compared to tax policy, this makes no sense. It would make more sense if the guys at the bottom have bread and water (@ sub $20K earners), while the guy at the top is having twin lobsters, filet, and a Margaux ($10MM+ earner). Regardless of the accuracy of the analogy, it makes no sense for people who don't pay taxes to get "refunds".

Just wanted to point out that the analogy is simplistic bull****, not that it matters to anyone here.

My message to you is stop waiting. That mythical country hasn't existed in thousands of years. What are the odds it happens on your watch?

Adapt. Overcome.

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting throught the wind
Wanting to start again

Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards
One blow from caving in

Do you ever feel already buried deep
Six feet under scream
But no one seems to hear a thing

Do you know that there's still a chance for you
Cause there's a spark in you

You just gotta ignite the light
And let it shine
Just own the night
Like the Fourth of July

Well, we weren’t talking about George. We were talking about the propaganda of the original post. This stuff is very appealing to some – like pork rinds.

But, if we did talk about Soros, we should also talk about Rupert Murdoch and his Faux New network. RM is far more thorough and competent as s general puppet master. He even has Glenn Beck for the politically remedial.

So George Soros is supposed to be on the left. Ruppert Murdoch and his Faux News Network are supposedly on the right.

One would think that when one wins, the other loses but in reality they both always win. Always.

Have you ever stood and stared at it, marveled at its beauty, its genius? Billions of people just living out their lives, oblivious. Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world. Where none suffered. Where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed that we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that as a species, human beings define their reality through misery and suffering. The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this, the peak of your civilization. I say your civilization because as soon as we started thinking for you it really became our civilization which is, of course, what this is all about. Evolution. Like the dinosaur. Look out that window. You had your time. The future is our world. The future is our time.

You get oppressed by the top 10% that own/control 70% of the wealth. (Expand it to the top 20% and it is something like 95% of the wealth!)

The beauty of it is that I knew before we started that no matter how much I challenged you to do something about the situation... the top 10%, the evil corporations, the wealthy, I knew you would do nothing. They never do. We control the wealth. We control the political parties. We control the entire game. We can admit it and know that nobody will do anything. Welcome to the Machine.
