X - I like Cubans and Cuban cigars too (lol)...actually, the shirts are aimed at the 'myth' that accompanies Cuban cigars - our ratings over the last several years (along with the ratings of other non-Cuban brands) have clearly demonstrated that there ARE non-Cuban cigars that are extraordinary. Essentially, we're just saying "Cuban-shmooban" to the 'so-called-authorities' who will tell you nothing comes close to a Cuban cigar....

I'm certain you can draw a similar analogy to the wine industry and the ongoing battle of French vs. Californinan, Australian, Oregonian and other non-French wines. Enjoy! =)

Jon,

CAO has a helluva product line and makes some fine smokes but "the cuban myth" be it fact or fiction sways many of us smokers. The embargo against cuba seems to be the perfect marketing tool for the ISOM's since we can not readily judge for ourselves. It's true that we can circumvent the system by going to Canada, Mexico, or any other country in world and partake in an ISOM but that just makes the the myth all that mightier. I'm sure you are aware that "distance makes the heart grow fonder".

btw Jon, how's this for marketing. Stop selling some CAO's here in the U.S. and run a marketing scheme errr... an advertising blast on the internet about how you aren't allowed to sell them here. Watch the $$$ roll in...LOL

TOJE,

I just turned my monitor around, I think the front looks better, and less dust.
