that is the same experience MrsS and I had, although we had to go to a lot more trouble since she was born in another state and obtaining the legally certified copy from her state of birth had to be done long-distance ... not an easy thing when they are willing to only release the document to the person to whom it apples ... ultimately, she had to take a special trip in order to get the document before she could get a passport to travel internationally ...

I don't think that it makes me a "birther" to feel that given our experience, good ol' Barry should have to produce the official form as well in order to establish his credentilals to hold the office of President ... his being black has nothing to do with it ... I wouldn't give a sh*t if he were purple, if he's not a citizen, he's not constitutionally qualified to occupy the office ...

Stop with this birth certificate crap already! You fools are simply spinning your wheels. Do you really think your opinion, fact, or whatever is going to make a bit of difference on this board to the powers that be? You guys seriously should just get past that, and if you really feel that somehow he is in office as a Muslim from Kenya, then dammit, what makes you think that this coverup will be exposed by YOU? Next you're gonna solve the JFK murder? How's about Elvis? By the way, can you guys investigate this whole "God" thing for us too?

If he is in office without a Birth Certificate then guess what? There's not a damn thing you or even Ted Turner can do to correct it. It's like that because that's how THEY (the executives that run this country...the board of directors) want it.

Get it?

Go get some ass or something. You are wasting your time with nonsense that you cannot control. Go fishing. Take a walk in the park. Do anything, but stop this birther crap. It's so old.

Game-changer! Arizona to pass 2012 eligibility law
Obama will have to produce birth certificate to run again

It could be a game-changer.

A plan in Arizona to require presidential candidates to prove their eligibility to occupy the Oval Office is approaching critical mass, even though it has just been introduced.

The proposal from state Rep. Judy Burges, who carried a similar plan that fell short last year only because of political maneuvering, was introduced yesterday with 16 members of the state Senate as co-sponsors.

It needs only 16 votes in the Senate to pass.

In the House, there are 25 co-sponsors, with the need for only 31 votes for passage, and Burges told WND that there were several chamber members who confirmed they support the plan and will vote for it, but simply didn't wish to be listed as co-sponsors.

Bad grammer on my part, VaMtMan. I meant to say "Do you really think that your opinion, voiced on this board, will make any difference to the powers that be?" By that I meant that whining on a cigar forum is not near the "takin' it to the streets" that my main man Michael MacDonald was referring to. My apologies. I do like your walk suggestion though, so I'm gonna have a toke and do just that. Cheers.

We 'fools' spinning our wheels on this cigar forum, plus the many thousands of 'fools' on many other forums. We the people.
Perhaps the couple of hundred executives who allegedly run the country had better watch out for the 290 million or so sheeple who just may get wide awake some fine day in the near future.

LOL!!!

Like I said before in this thread...last time he had Pelosi. This time he won't. Certification will be harder this time. America has repudiated all of the Kenyan King's socialist agenda. He's been exposed as a puppet and an ineffective leader. He makes Jimmy Carter appear like Patton, and that's a stretch! We ALL know what happened to Jimmy too. Poor fella. Relegated to being a bitter old coot on the sidelines. That's the problem with Progressives. They don't get their way (total destruction of the US as we know it!) then they sulk and throw a tantrum. Relegates whatever authority he ever held to a minuscule amount when you compare them to other Presidents.

Why do you come over to this thread, mock me, but yet still want to interact? Is it your hope to make me look silly? Do you want to prove to someone (yourself?) that you are better than me?

So, what would YOU like to discuss since you now have my FULL attention?

Birther Outrage!

Glad I'm not running for Prez because I'd probably not make the AZ ballot. They may even deport me if I'm caught chatting with my parents landscaper. He is brown and speaks mexican. I think he is from Italy.

I can get a certificate of live birth, but not the "long form" all the experts in here say are necessary to get a passport etc. And my certificate of live birth is not the original.... its modified. The original exists but is not available to me.

I must have some pull though because I've had no issues the folks in this thread say exist. I've even passed a State and Federal security clearance or two.

Hill Dog must be on my speed dial.

I have. Tuckersdad and CROS. Meh. They both deserved it "you wouldn't talk to me like that if I wasn't in a wheelchair"...that one still cracks me up since virtually no one knew he was. I actually think that is how CROS morphed from a blood into a crip.

jimmy is some pet name that some wacko on this board has adopted for his nemesis. A name to the voices in his head.

Tuckersdad...wow. a chill just ran through the air, and Johnny Cash just stood up and said, "you stay the hell away from me, ya hear!" in a voice that rings through the sweet Tennessee valleys.

Celebrity Journalist: I Never Spoke to Hawaii Gov About Obama Birth Certificate

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie
A celebrity journalist now claims he misspoke when he said last week that Hawaii’s governor told him he was unable to find President Barack Obama’s original birth certificate after a search of state and hospital archives.

Mike Evans told FoxNews.com on Wednesday he was remorseful and embarrassed that he appeared to have given the impression that he had discussed the search for Obama’s birth certificate with Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie.

Evans, who says he has been a close friend of Abercrombie since the 1980s, appeared on Minnesota’s KQRS radio last week and said he’d been told by the governor himself that Obama’s birth certificate was nowhere to be found. Evans told KQRS on Jan. 20:

"Yesterday, talking to Neil's office, Neil says that he searched everywhere using his powers as governor ..... there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii. Absolutely no proof at all that he was born in Hawaii."

But that’s no longer Evans’ story.

Last week’s radio interview was part of Evans’ syndicated five-minute feature, “On the Road with Mike Evans,” which is broadcast on 34 stations across the country each morning.

On the morning of Jan. 20, Evans says he accidentally told one of those radio stations -- KQRS -- that he’d spoken directly with Gov. Abercrombie about the Obama birth certificate.

“I was on 34 radio stations that morning. That was the only station where I said, instead of saying ‘the hospital said there’s no birth certificate’ I misspoke and said Neil said that,” Evans said. “I misspoke and I apologize for that. I apologize to Neil.”

Abercrombie’s spokeswoman did not respond to Fox News e-mail and phone requests for comment.

Evans says he first noticed the story on Jan. 18, when he was reading an online article with the headline, “Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate.” The article cites an interview with a former Honolulu elections clerk who says records of Obama’s birth could not be found at either Honolulu hospital.

“Halfway down the story it said the long form certificate was not on file at the two hospitals,” Evans said. “It says the hospitals say there’s no birth certificate and says Neil says he couldn’t find it.”

Evans said he continued reading other reports online, including one that quotes a former Honolulu election official as saying no hospital has been able to find Obama’s original long form birth certificate.

Evans says he then placed a call to Abercrombie’s office in Hawaii to follow up on the reports.

“I called Neil, but Neil never called me back,” Evans told Fox News. “I haven’t talked to Neil since he’s been governor.”

In 2008, the Obama campaign provided a certification of live birth -- a shorter form document that bears the same legal weight as the more detailed original certificate of live birth -- to prove his eligibility to be president. That has not quelled calls by those who have asked for the president’s original, longer form birth certificate, which they maintain would more clearly prove his status as a natural-born American citizen.

The U.S. Constitution stipulates that only “a natural-born citizen,” or a citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of the President.”

most likely he was born from a dog and a preist switched him at birth or maybe he was born a female or he/she and they had to decide which to raise him as.

prove differently or its true.

Not sayin' the short form birth certificate isn't enough to allow someone to be President, just that it isn't enough to get a passport (at least the short birth certificates from CA). Anyway, President Obama is doing a damned fine job, no matter where he was born, or baptized.

Wait, how come they never released his baptismal certificate? Can you be President if you haven't been baptised?

gotta disagree with you here. As posted on the prior page -- I have used my Cali. short-form Certificate of Live Birth to get my passport w/out any problem. Also accepted by/used to establish US citizenship for Dept. of State, Dept. of Homeland Security, and USCIS without any problems. Was accepted by and authenticated by US Sec. of State for proof of US Citizenship for international adoption.

It is just as valid of proof of US birth as if the official record keeper of vital statistics stood in court, and stated under oath that the original is on file in the official records of the state. In fact, that is what it is -- as certified statement of the state's vital statistics records. You can not get one if there is not a actual birth certificate on file with the state.

I believe you, but it didn't work for my son. Below is a copy and paste from travel.state.gov. Believe me, I tried to argue with them, told them something similar to what you wrote about the validity, but they required the long form. I found a site that got me the long form in something like 2 days, so it worked out ok but they definitely required the long form. I don't know, maybe they changed their policy in the past 3 months -- this was this past October.

"*A certified birth certificate has a registrar's raised, embossed, impressed or multicolored seal, registrar's signature, and the date the certificate was filed with the registrar's office, which must be within 1 year of your birth. Please note, some short (abstract) versions of birth certificates may not be acceptable for passport purposes."

I have no idea what document you were trying to use but my cert of birth is nearly identical to the one the prez has provided and it manages to get passports, security clearances etc. And, mine is not original and has been modified (totally different birth name ... first, middle, and last all changed, as well as birth parents). I can not obtain the original even if I want it.

Barry sucks at prez. but is an American. It's pretty hard to respect or take serious anyone who believes or perpetuates this crap (for real. In here it's just good entertainment)

Not the original, I don't even know what "original birth certificate" means. I also never knew CA had two different kinds of birth certificates (actually 3, i think they have a wallet size as well). The one we had for him, from when we left that wonderful state, was the short one, and it looks similar to what was released for the Prez. The long form certificate is, you know, longer, with a shiny gold seal and stuff. No idea how many different kinds Hawaii has, but didn't the governor imply they may have something different from what was released?

I don't know what the big deal is anyway. I mean, I don't think the President even needs a passport, right?

I'm with you. It is just silly.

In my case I petitioned the court trying to get my original and it's a no go. I did manage to get the court documents with original name etc. but not the original cert. If I ran for prez I'm toast.

And I too am about 1/3 black. The part below the waist and above the knees.

Isn't it the case that if at least one of your parents are American, you are considered a citizen no matter where you are born? Not that I would mind if Barry was bounced out of office, and I don't know why he doesn't release the certificate, but I think if one of your parents is American, you're in.

Way back in post #29 was this...

"Obama lived in Indonesia when that country did not allow duel citizenship, so his mother would have had to renounce hers and Obama’s, and once lost, natural born status can never be reinstated."

Any questions?

I'm no expert on the matter, but the issue is not that Obama visited Indonesia, but that he was schooled there.
It has been reported that back then they had a law that only citizens could go to school in their country.

I thought the issue was more along the path that even dual citizenship is not allowed for prez and pertains to the fact that since he was born in Kenya to a non American daddy he is a dual and not eligible.

All the other stuff from the experts in here that no one else is aware of just compounds things.
