I say it's a matter of accountability. Both the criminal and the executioner are accountable to a Higher Being.

Not sure now if I can still make an argument for capital punishment by splitting hairs over the difference between murdering & killing - used to justify killing of murderers via the Ten Commandments... Now with dna testing exonerating some...

like it or not it is there.... and I believe it's necessary... there has to be line drawn somewhere.. a cops life has to worth more that the guy who sold you some bad crack on the street... imagine the chaos if shooting a cop only got you 10 years... Mellow
